  1. Has anyone found any good deals on wireless iem systems so far (Black Friday/Cyber Week). I'm debating the XSW or if it comes down enough perhaps EW though it's almost 400 more. For those using or come from the XSW is the EW worth the extra price?
  2. Thanks again lots of great ideas, have seen some of the aftermarket rack ears for cable management that also might let a little more air flow though not sure how much difference they would make?
  3. Thank you all so far for the ideas, looks like a shallow rack is more worthwhile to keep it a bit more portable
  4. Hi all, I've not got it yet (waiting until October) but will have an XR18 incoming. I'm looking into a rack case for it and what to pop in there with it. Short term I will probably go with a bag until I've decided just for ease of transport. I had thought about a small/shallow case that would hold: IEM system x1, 4 in the band but I think the rest will use monitors the drummer might use headphones for his electric kit. I've not bought a system yet. Some sort of router ideally small to replace the in built XR18 one A power strip I thought might be helpful A small draw/shelf to put any other bits on Open to suggestions thanks.
  5. I used it on 1 preset on my bigger board with midi but that might be a good idea. I'm using it in stomp mode at the moment but might try experimenting
  6. Using these on a Nano+, with the Proton in the loop. Drive and modulation on the Stomp still experimenting with the Regal, Mic pre etc. Powered with a DC4 and either a powerbank or 24V plug to get the most out of it
  7. HX Edit and new Firmware for the stomp are out. Some exciting bits in there
  8. Do like that idea but I thought you'd need the neuro hub or some sort of midi controller for them? Unless you program the sounds in and use them as stomp effects as it were
  9. After some ideas of what people would add to a nano+ pedalboard with a HX Stomp, Bright Onion switch. Powered with a cioks4, using a daisy chain power cable there is room/power for 3 pedals what would you put on there?

Thanks for the reply, that sounds a great way to do it

Soon to have a HX Stomp (tomorrow hopefully). Currently have a C4, Aftershock, Tuner, compressor, expression pedal, neuro hub and DMC 3XL. Would you run them straight through or some into the effects loop of the HX Stomp? I have in my head that I stick some "scenes" into the hub for things like an octave, synth, filter using C4 and some distortion sounds from the aftershock then recall them using the Stomp?
  12. Thank you all for the suggestion so far, I'd imagine I should be able to setup my disaster area DMC3XL a similar way as extra footswitches and be able to get the C4 going as well. It looks like a massive learning curve but being a bit techy hopefully I'll enjoy the journey.
  13. Hello all, At some point (probably end of August by the looks of it) I will receive a GX Stomp. I've got a SA C4 and expression pedal that I'll use with it and got the hub and a DMC 3XL for some midi bits, I'll probably use my Darkglass Hyperluminal and Sonic Research Tuner. Is there anything else that would complement the stomp (been looking at various pedal boards to get an idea of what might be missing)

    Midi ideas?

Thank you both, some food for thought as it were. I've just purchased the C4 so not looking to move that on at the moment. The HX Stomp does sound interesting though as does the Darkglass. I'll see if anyone else has any thoughts or other pedal suggestions to build something up.

    Midi ideas?

Hi all, My current board consists of a Tuner, Source Audio C4 and the expression pedal, Darkglass - B7K, B3K, Hyperluminal and V1 Strymon El Capitan. I have various other pedals, like fuzz, proton V2, mxr bass octave deluxe to name a few. I'll soon be getting a DMC 3XL and wondering other than the C4 some better uses for a Midi journey. I feel that the B3K and B7K both being on the same board feels a bit redundant but I was using the B7K as more of a preamp. Open to suggestions of what I can do or routes to take to take more advantage of Midi. In a covers band that mostly play funk, soul and rock n roll. Thanks Matt
