    Just got a GK Legacy 800w 1x15 combo in. Unfortunately it’s got a really noisy horn, almost unusable on high or low, all fine set to off. Fortunately I prefer it off anyway, but not really the tolerable on a new amp also a really weird fizz/whooshing noise on the decay of deeper notes. Only notice it if you let a note decay. sending it back, although I’m having to push for them to collect at the moment. price did seem too good to be true 🤣 Just wanted to check if these sort of faults are common? Sounds great apart from these issues. Also like the 1x15 more than I thought I would. It’s got way more power than I need Though…. any alternatives I should look at? The amp sounds great. Maybe go for a used head and another cab?

    Great condition, I bought it used from BassDirect last year, comes with a Hotcovers padded cover.     Thank you! As do you this thing sounds great, I just can’t integrate it into new smaller system easily without loosing two outputs that I’d rather keep free. Otherwise it would stay. Very handy bit of kit and the headphone amp side of it is superb.

    I used to always go buy this rule of thumb. But recently bought some Audeze that are stupidly low impedance oh 18ohm. Sound amazing with everything I’ve used from pro to consumer. Go figure?!

    Hi Chris it’s about 2 years old now I think, I bought it used from someone I know and he had only had it 6 months before selling it to me. He’d hardly used it. It’s only been in my home studio setup and not usually turned on until I need it at the end as I always used it on my master bus rather than tracking through it. Open to a close offer if it helps. Postage would be UPS (actually, it might fit a Royal Mail Medium package for special delivery… I’ll check shortly)
