SSL BiG SiX Great condition. Only used in my studio. I have the original packaging so can get shipped via UPS next day for £25 but looking into other options with better insurance now. I've sold a load of hardware so this is just a luxury now. I want the space and won't me multi tracking anything more than two stereo channels so way over kill. These sounds fantastic and the fact the interface is part of it makes life VERY easy! The master compressor and channel EQ's sound great. I had the SiX before this and this just added everything the little Six missed.... Any questions please get in touch. Price assumes Bank transfer or Paypal gift - Normal Paypal is fine if you cover the fees. Not looking for trades.

Fatal error of trying it again before packing it up ready to ship. Withdrawn. BassRIG Black Panel '64 Great pedal, but I just prefer the Ampeg version. This is like new, no velcro, never been out of the house, just used in a studio. boxed with instructions posted special delivery unless they’re on strike. If that’s the case, I’ll send via UPS. Price assumes PP Gift or plus fees.

How can you judge the setup?! There are no measurements to this thread, just some really hard to judge photos that show nothing you can make an informed decision on

Surly when EB say you adjust the action via the truss rod (not read it myself, but this goes against anything I’ve ever been told or learnt), they assume you have a fresh bass from EB - so the actions been factory set and the Truss rod needs a tweak due to travel/climate changes I don’t get why you wouldn’t just adjust the action your self? (Via the saddles - AFTER checking neck relief and adjusting the truss rod).

When provenance is not enough (in my view)

it’s gonna have to be able to tell 9000 stories at that rate -
I seem to have far, far too many reverbs, so this one is up for sale. Greta pedal though! from straight reverbs to completely bonkers effects. Immaculate condition, Boxed, no velcro, instructions.... These have been out for a while, but this is a late model with serial in 5000s from this year I believe. Straight sale ideally - postage will be Special Delivery unless Royal Mail are on strike, if they are, I'll send via UPS. Will be double boxed. might take a bass overdrive pedal as trade / part trade? Would like to try a Darkglass Vintage Microtubes £290 posted. Payment via Bank trans or PP Gift - Or plus fees.

Not sure how many of you would be into a Acoustic guitar like this, but seeing as funds will be going towards a Bass, I though I'd try. Got this in a trade after being after one for years.... Long and short of it, I've decided to keep my other acoustic and I don't need or want more than one These are fantastic little instruments. 12 fret join, small size and shorter scale, lovely warm midrange to it. Feels like an old guitar, but with none of the vintage worries. There's a load of small marks from use all over the guitar. I've pictured everything as best I can. But there's nothing of any concern and no cracks or major dings. If you want a new one, look away, but to be honest, everything feels right and can see it ageing really nicely already. Hard case included. Will chuck a couple of sets of strings in that I was going to try. It had a professionally fitted pickup - so the end block has been reamed for a jack. I have a No Jack end pin to fit this coming at the weekend, or the pickup (DiMarzio The Black Angel Soundhole) could be included for an additional cost. I dont like pickups in acoustics so removed it as it added weight to a super light little guitar. Only trades would be a custom shop (or other brands in that price area) P Bass - Music Man Stingray Special (ideally natural with rosewood). With me adding to the deal where needed. I do have packaging to get this ready for collection for you. I could possibly post via UPS at cost as well... need any more pics, please look at the link below - I can take any extra images no problem. Amazing little thing. ”Road worn” finish may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but the finish on the neck is fantastic and really nice to use. I didn’t get the original black scratch plate when I bought this used, so got one made up - think it looks great with the black. Also includes the original pearl reliced one. Strung with La Bella that are pretty new - great thumps tone! Also supplied with a set of Chromes that I didn’t like as much, but would give a brighter tone if you wanted. They’ve been on for a few weeks and then stuck the La Bella on there… I have a brand new Fender short scale bag with it too. Everything works as it should. Frets all good with no real signs of use. Truss rod works as it should and is easily adjusted due to the cutout at the body and scratch plate (wish all. The vintage style ones had this!) - so no neck off adjustments needed. Pickups are great on these too, very dynamic. Great punch when you want it and can be very subtle too. More so with the Chromes for sure. The La Bella give it a very old school sound. So, JMJ Bass, extra scratch plate, Chromes and brand new gig bag included. £950 - Can box and post at cost or ready for your Courier to collect. (price assumes PP Gift or bank transfer - normal PP is fine if you cover the fees) Trades - MAYBE I could add to the deal for a AO,AVRI 60’s Jazz bass. Or would maybe take a nice tube DI in PX. Appreciate I'm new here with no sales feedback as a seller... I'm on The Fretboard with lots of 100% feedback, same on elektronauts.com, eBay with 100% feedback and the same username (brucegill) I'm based near Stansted Airport (CM22 7). Traveling to Linton in Cambridge every day to drop the kids at School at the moment too, if that helps.

Would love to try a Noble, but likelihood of me finding one is pretty slim. I do wish I still had the Big Tree to try with bass though.... This threads not helping my GAS levels.

Short scale JMJ mustang, La Bella and a dead E string
Brucegill posted a topic in General Discussion
Looking for a little help… I have a JMJ Mustang and bought a set of La Bella 760F-MUS Deep Talkin Bass. these seem like the correct La Bella for a through body short scale mustang… the E string is dead as dead thing. Sound like there’s a mute on the E, but not the others. Lots of reading on line and it seems either - A. That’s what they’re all like, the A, D and G string mellow and the E brightens up and after a break in period they all sort of catch up and get to a uniform sound. B. I’ve somehow twisted the E string. I’ve tried all I can to make sure the E isn’t twisted. Taken it off and re strung it. Loosened the string, popped the ball end back out of the body and then tightened the string. (I didn’t wrap the string round the post by hand, I tightened the tuning peg). the E string is pretty tight in the body/bridge. The silk wrap is partly to blame I think. anything else I can try? Lube the string at the bridge end maybe? Or is it just a dead string? audio here https://www.dropbox.com/s/qa1qeh1cua1is4s/labelladeadE.mp3?dl=0 many thanks!
