1. I've just received a wonderful Spector from Mark. It was packed well, the deal was smooth and I'm impressed. This is the beauty of being a bass player, to meet nice and trustworthy guys that share the same passion and deal with honesty.

2. I recently sold a bass to ToolOfIgnorance. The deal was very swift, payment was made quickly and communication was fast all the way.
It was a good transaction between two bass players who share a liking in Ibanez six string SRs.
Deal with him with confidence!

3. Hey folks,

I play bass in Chemical Wedding, a Hungarian tribute band that plays songs off from Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson's solo records, mosty Accident of Birth and Chemical Wedding, but also from the others as well. We recently made a couple of videos at our Budapest gig that I think I'd share here, too. Please note that English is not our native language so be gentle about our singer's accent :-)
My gear used here was: Ibanez SR3006, EBS Multicomp, EBS BS Drive and EBS Gorm 410
Let me know what you think!

4. This is a feeler for a possible sale of my Ibanez Sr1306 Custom bass from 1994, made in Japan. I bought it almost 3 years ago in the US as an impulse purchase due to my fondness of high-end Japaneese Soundgears and also to the fact that this is in very good condition despite the age. Apart from the dents here and there and some chips on the back of the headstock, this one is remarkably well for a almost 20 years old instrument.
Sort of thought it to be a back-up of my other Ibanez SR six string (Sr3006) but that never fails me so no need to have a back-up whatsoever. I had a luthier do a full setup and replace the OBP as the original was a weaker point of the bass, but apart from occasionally getting it out of the case I do not play it. I’m not a collector type of a player, so if I do not use a bass, it should find a new home. Still this is the only one where I’m not sure of letting it go, as the condition, sound is excellent and I still love these six string SR’s.

Anyway, price is 600 GBP / 720 EUR. Price includes used but useable HSC and shipping within the EU. (bass is in Hungary)

Price is FIRM, if no buyers, I will keep, I would not find this much of a bass for this amount anyway J

No trades please.

5. As I wrote in the original post:

"While I'd prefer straight sale, let me know what you have for trade. I guess I will say no, but I'm interested in EBS Neo Cabs, Stingrays, CIJ Fenders and 6 string basses in general.I'm open for trades + cash your way if you have something that I like. You must be able to ship it to Hungary though."

6. Up for sale is my Ibanez SR1005 EFM Prestige bass. 600 GBP ONO
I have acquired it this spring in a sort of impulse purchase, but ever since it is just living in the HSC so I have decided to let it go.
Top of the line Ibanez SR basses have a special place in my heart. I love their playability, sound and build quality. However, I'm using my SR3006 for solo pieces and my Spector 5 string for gigs and my other basses does not see much use so I'm thinning the herd, so to speak.

It is all stock.
This baby is used, but not abused. Plenty of belt marks on the backside, some on the edges and on the top and one of the tuning pegs cover is missing on the backside. Varnish on the monorail bridges and some marks on the pickups.
In 100% working condition, trussrod works fine and had a fret dress.
I received this one as it is, but loved it nevertheless. Nothing that affects playability though. The neck is very fast and the action is set to my liking: low. In fact, I just played some songs on it and it the playability is ridiculously easy.

The price includes a HSC and shipping within the EU. (bass is in Hungary) Paypal is ok!

7. This is an early Euro 4 (without the LX)
CRFM had dot inlays, not the crown inlays.
Euro differs from Euro LX that the latter has an alder/walnut/maple sandwich for wings whereas the EURO has maple wings.
(the Euro differs from the CR mainly in the inlays for the 4 strings, for 5 strings, the CR had 34" scale, the Euro 35")
Might be worth checking the OBP as these were to a certain number supplied with Aguilar OBP.

This is a very good bass.

8. I have seldom seen a early TRB in such a pristine condition. Fortunately I can not really make use of a 4 string bass, otherwise I'd be tempted.
I think Yamaha TRB basses, regardless of vintage and model are always of very good value. I have had 5 of them in the past and while changes in life led me to sell them, they always are special for me.

So free bump!
