  1. Does paying more than £400 mean i avoid getting a 'Friday afternoon' bass?
  2. Possibly the other 3, but haven worked with John Lydon briefly in the mid 80s he had more about him than a scruffy 'erbert. You didn't catch his eye for very long.
  3. Thankfully not me, but recently our lead singers dress strap broke half way through the gig, leaving her to tactfully hold it together to save a very embarrassing wardrobe malfunction. She did it very well. Needless to say a new dress was not one of my backup items!
  4. It plays guitar as well does it?
  5. Definitely Slip the sound guy £10 to roll off the bottom end (although a good un will do this anyway), £20 to accidentally knock the knob on the amp....
  6. Toot sweets. Truly Scruptious and Caracutous Potts
  7. After watching 20 secs of that video Leonard Smalls just posted I strongly disagree!! 👉😖👈
  8. The rattle sound a string makes when not pressed down hard enough. Not fret buzz as you'd get on the higher feets. It happened on or around the fret that was being played requiring the action to be raised or more relief added to the neck. It would be the string hitting the fret(s) in front of the one that was being played. Adding the shim to the body end screws definitely made it worse than without the shim. Adding a shim to the neck end screws has improved the situation.
  9. As an aside on Roy Orbison, I once recorded few tracks for an album with a tribute/impersonator. His voice was just the same, but he was also dressed exactly the same, sunglasses, haircut, bootlace tie, the works. Even the mannerisms. It was rather spookey.
