  1. Is there anything particularly wrong with the 50th anniversary T-bird? I tried one once, maybe four years ago, and it was nice enough to buy. Didn't have the money for it, though, even though the price was right.
  2. Hey, people can simply buy one of the Gene Simmons basses, instead...even though there's really nothing special about them...no active electronics, no upgraded pickups, but Gene 𝘸𝘢𝘴 known for playing T-birds, so...
  3. Such fine basses made me forget all about Fender.
  4. With so many ever-changing Fender P basses...Fender Professional I and II, Fender Performer, American Ultra, American Vintage, American Original, American Original 50s, American Original 60s, and whatever they decide to go with next time they make an unnecessary name change, the best advice is to forget Fender and go G&L.
  5. Gold pearl would look good.
  6. Good bassist, good basses, but...
  7. https://www.talkbass.com/threads/fender-japan-aerodyne-special-precision.1567598/ Hey, let's call them Aerodynes, even though they're not. That way, we can count on Aerodyne and Boxer fans buying them! Other than that, I have to say I've never heard anyone call white and two-color-burst vibrant before! By the way, nice touch putting the white access plate on the green one. That's some heads-up thinking there.
  8. ...but pulled it out today and it was still in tune! Due to financial difficulties, I had this listed on Facebook Marketplace, but after playing it today, I decided I'd be a fool to sell it. Did I mention it only weighs 7.3 lbs?

  9. I always use gig bags, but whenever I talk about them, countless hardshell case lovers chime in about them. (I also have a Gator Pro Go.)
  10. Sure, but it doesn't change the fact that most people prefer hardshell cases. Mono cases run from $180 to $270...and this new one sure isn't the Vertigo.
  11. For the price they ask, it's a shame they're no longer including hardshell cases...and I'm big on gigbags!
  12. I've always liked the smoked lucite one. Wouldn't buy one, but...
  13. My Italia Imola.
  14. Some people simply don't like the way they look. Some opt for these, instead.
  15. Quickguards has many interesting colors, if you're looking for something different.
  16. I think the song in the video would be the perfect backing track for the new Frogger 5000 video game due to hit the shelves next month.
  17. I wonder what it will look like when it's finished.
  18. Especially since they used the Babicz on Thunderbirds before.
  19. If the Gibson 3-point bridge is supposed to be just fine, I have to wonder why they're using the same bridge I put on my Jack Casady bass.
  20. Not easy choosing between these two.
  21. Too bad Epiphone doesn't come out with a version of this one, but hats off to anyone who spends $3,000 for the Gibson. Other than that, are they joking with that pickguard?
  22. What happens if that one bass has an issue when you need it the most and you leave your band mates without the foundation you usually provide?
