Hi all I bought a second hand Mike Dirnt a few weeks ago and used it for the first time on Saturday night...... It has a Squire body and a 2006 Mexican neck which cuts the weight down ever so slightly. It's got the Mexican 59's (Rewound due to a fault) fitted that I bought from a chap on here and it has the Badass bridge along with Fender 9050 flats. I've fitted new custom wiring from "James Home of Tone", a new scratch plate, a sticker to cover the Squire star and it's been given it a bit of a light relic look I ran it through my recently acquired Quilter V803 (2 TC Electronic RS112's) via my simple pedal board leaving the Ampeg pre amp on and using the Quilters warm setting via it's flat input It sounded great.....Punchy, tight & clear and looks really good It's a great bass and highly recommended if you can pick one up ππ

I saw that yesterday which is an interview with his Guitar Tech and he does fit 63's in his newer basses ππ

Chaps a BASSCHAT member very kindly got in touch with me as he had an original set of 59's in his parts draw and I bought them from him so I'm dead chuffed

Hi all I have the above amp and when I plug in either a passive or active bass I can have the gain up full and the amp does not clip and the main output is not what it should be in terms of volume so I think I may have an issue on the input side This is either on it's own or plugged into a separate 8ohm extension cab Any thoughts that may guide me to resolve it Yesterday at 11:09

So Iβm wanting to buy this cab to sit on top of my Ampeg SVT15e (8ohm) but itβs 4ohm. Can I re wire this to 8ohm so I can use it with my 4ohm head. Thanks

Hi I've just ordered one of these after looking at many positive reviews........ Are these really as good as they say???? Thanks

This thing is really catching my eye....... BUT I've owned 3-4 Ampegs over the last 25 years and every one has failed in some way which is really putting me off buying another What are your thoughts on this amp???? Thanks Mike

I've no idea because 4 strings are enough for me

Works really well with low E's though

Thanks ever so much for that πππ

Hi. It is the combo but the head detaches so I may use the head with two other cabs

Hi All Looking at this diagram am I ok to daisy chain two 8ohm cabs out of one/either of the outputs should I want to do that? I'm thinking of using the speakon out into a TC RS112 and then out of that into a 2nd RS112 Thanks Mike

Hi all At home I use a rack mounted RBI for practice and it sounds great I play classic punk with a little bit of modern stuff thrown in. I'm wanting to get myself a pedal and I'm thinking the Bass Driver Di Programable or the Bass Driver DI Programable is getting my eye as I can use 3 different channels but any thoughts from anyone on here ππ

Used my Elf last night through 2 TC Electronic RS112βs and I was blown awayβ¦Loud as hell and only slightly warm at the end of the night. Itβs usually a back up for my RH750 but Iβm seriously thinking about just running with 2 Elfβs so one as a back up. And also maybe putting a little diβd bass through the PA π€ππ

Iβve found an SG on the Gibson site called an HP and this has a button fitted to the upper rear horn so this must be an approved place to fit oneβ¦..π€ππ
