1. Are those pictures coming Paul?
2. You can confidently ignore anything youve heard about woolly Ashdowns, it's all bollox. My MKI ABM300 sounds wooly as hell! I'm sure it didn't used to, but after 3 years of storage, mine does through my DB410! Probably needs a service. Speaking of service, CPBassman, how much did Ashdown charge for the servicing of your head?
3. Quick question: where did you get that wood head case for that bass 400+?
4. Thanks for the answers - pretty pricey then. I would want it doing because I also couldn't be bothered lugging around the transformer. Spacebeer, how old is the head, as i see it is a newer model? Has it been gigged much? And how come there is quite a bit of wear on the front panel (decals quite worn etc.)? cheers, joe.
5. I want this now! But folks help me out please, where could I take the amp to get the internal transformer changed?
6. Does the overdrive sound as good as the big block 750's?
7. What sort of price would you like for the head on it's own?

Howdy!

Thanks for the compliments! Beerdragon, you've changed your profile pic now, but that is one gorgeous precision you got, how old!?
9. Hi Chris, Joe here! You haven't sold it yet!?!?! Guess what, I have the cash for a big block 750 now, just 6 months too damn late! I have a DB210 in black. Great sounding cab, just sounds like the 410, but smaller. But we are doing some biggish gigs now and as I am still looking for a big block 750, a bigger cab would be a good idea. Interested in trade + cash at all?

Howdy!

My name's Joe and I have been browsing bass chat for a few months now, mainly looking to find a Mesa BB750 for sale (to replace my ageing and crap sounding Ashdown ABM300, Evo I head). and an Aguilar DB115 to compliment my DB210: Wanted ads here!!! http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=63132 http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=63133 It is a great forum! I am surprised I didn't find it sooner as I have been playing bass for ages. Originally with the band Buzzkill http://www.myspace.com/buzzkill from about 1993-2004, then played drums in Eagle Eye for a couple of years http://eagleeye.bandcamp.com. Then I left all of the band business behind and went travelling doing artist residencies with my wife Clare Carter http://www.clarecarter.co.uk for 3 years, to Cyprus, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Spain and Holland. During this time we made music together on a laptop, which has now turned into The Horn The Hunt http://www.thehornthehunt.com. We have just started gigging and just released our debut album ourselves. You can download for free here: http://thehornthehunt.bandcamp.com. We are now based in Leeds. Well I think that is just about enough about me! Oh, apart from other instruments and studio gear, I play a black 2001 USA Jazz and a sunburst 1995 USA Precision.
