1. well ive only got 4! but i dont really want to part with any of them, but the only two i#d consider is a mim p/j in sunburst, and an active status shark in sunburst - both 4 stringers if anyone is interested in helping me buy this bass?????
2. thats what i figured, but just thought i'd ask!
3. just wondered if these are ply bodied or basswood or something else?? Can't find any info about them on net. just saw a 'worship' jazz bass for £45 on ebsy nd i'm after a jazz body for a project, but obviously if its ply i dont want it!! anyone any info??
4. I'd have it but as usual i'd have to clear some of my gear first!
5. looking for a straight sale or any trades??
6. Are the 'vintage' brand of basses any good? seen a couple of decent priced ones go on ebay recently and just wondered if they were worth apoke and would be any good if upgraded etc?
7. hope there wasn't too much damage done when you dropped it??
8. PM'd
9. I ran a MAG300 for years, never failed or let me doen, great value head IMO, ive now got the MAG600 and same again, great head never failed me!! The little giant 350 may be too quiet though (i found that out and even tried the LG1000 but this seemed a little lacking too)
10. any particular bass trades in mind?
11. just bought a set of MEC jazz pups, great bloke nice quick shipping pleasure to deal with many thanks
12. my washburn AB-10 is strung with flats (as are all my basses) and it sounds great plugged in really mellow, as mentioned above though, pretty quiet when played unplugged but still audible alongside a reasonable volumed acoustic guitar!
13. Howard just bought my gator case, we met in a clandestine car park evening meet, great bloke!!! cheers
14. Thanks, but traded this one now, sorry forgit to ammend the title.

16. ive got two - a warwick fortress one with p/j pups and a mex pbass deluxe with the p/j pups - both of which sound amazing and offer great flexibility in tone, defo my fav combination!
17. Cheers Howard, and Will for the coments, great guys and pleasure to deal with, Best of wishes to you bothe for the festive season. Paul
18. I keep coming back to this! but i'm skint since just buying the status! would like it but the shark would have to go first and TBH i'm not sure i want to let the shark go either! unless anyone is REALLY after one?? Prob a daft question but how does this bass sound? Ive got a fortress one and that has a lovely warm thump to it, also got a p/j similar sounding! Does this one sound like a musicman? can you still get a rich warm sound out of it? I love the necks on these warwicks too!!
19. use them all the time, amongst the cheapest ive found over the years, and always quick delivery, great place!!
20. Certainly is.. status energy and the shark! sadly neither make up the series 2 headless i had to sell a couple of years ago but i'm working on that!!
21. another great transaction with you sir! bought me squier CV jazz, paid quick, and retuned the favour by shipping it out as quick as i could! top bloke a pleasure yet again!
22. I used to have a black thunder 1A, and i do miss it it was a great player and great sounding bass, one of these days i'll have another or possibly the thunder II, heres a pic of it..
23. after watchinjg this on ebay and seeing it relisted for a lower price i thought i'd have a punt!!! Active version of the status shark, great nick, pots a bit crackly but other than that excellent. Just done a quick setup - adjusted neck relief, lowered the action, fresh set of flats, intonation done - GREAT!!! sounds excellent the active bass/treble on tis gives it a much greater range of tones than my old passive one! VERY PLEASED!!!
24. forgot to mention it can be used with either active or passive pickups, oh and also comes with prewired output jack!
25. Just bought this the other week with the intention of installing it into my squier cv jazz, however gas has meant i sold that one and have bought another bass so dont need this little unit now! It is the single concentric pot with bass/treble not the whole system. Its brand new in the box, i can even throw in a chrome stack knob too!!! bought it from here: http://www.guitarandampshop.co.uk/acatalog...ass_Guitar.html £60 posted
