  1. Wow !!! NAS, now that is the best looking Overwater ever. If only i wasn't financially embarrased.
  2. In my mock David Dickinson voice "Now thats what i call a real deal"
  3. Wow !!! what a beast of an amp. How on earth are you going to replace this, unless you're downsizing. Unfortunately, i'm only playing smaller venues now so my SWR SM400s caters for most of my needs these days. Good luck with the sale.
  4. Steve brought some strings from me & paid when he said it would, easy transaction. Cheers B
  5. Wow !!! What a lovely looking bass, i've always gassed for a streamer stage II 4 or a 5 & this is a lovely example. Unfortunately, i'm finacially embarrased .
  6. Just noticed this thread. Very sad indeed.
  7. When i do use one mainly for recording or the fast songs live with repetitive lines i prefer the peavey black mediums, otherwise its the dunlop tortex orange .60mm's.
  8. Hi All, i have 1 set of these unopened & unused strings. I've recently decided to go to a lighter guage & ideally i want to trade these into the medium V's set 40-125's. Preferably Elites, if not Rotosounds please. If not, i'm prepared to sell, to turn these into cash so i can buy the appropriate guage. I'm looking to sell these at £15.50 posted. Thanks for looking.
  9. I'm not a great fan of stingrays, but that looks gowjus
  10. Lol !! Its not 63 its now 65 !!!!! another 2 have hatched
  11. Mmmmm loving them jazzes, yes i'm indeed droolin', i've a thing for sunburst fender shaped basses. Although i agree with Lefty J on the tort guard comment i wouldn't say no if it has handed to me. Right, i'm off to drool somemore
  12. As in the notice above your request, it says "all sold".
  13. I've been keeping my eye on this thread, its very interesting & informative. Err no updates
  14. Blimey !!! this would have had me tearing my hair out by now. Is there no way of getting tracking numbers, so that you at least know that they are on their way to you or not lost in transit.
  15. What a giveaway price & a superb cab, can't see this being on here for much longer. Would have had this myself, but i'm skint & playing smaller venues these days. Here's a big bargain bump mate
  16. enough already, lol let me drool in peace
  17. I've managed to take some more pics of my Swr gear, hope you like it. First up my trusty SM400s a great tweekers amp, not a plug & play amp, some great sounds can be coaxed from these. [attachment=24227:400s_rack_1.jpg] Next up is my big gig rack, my Swr st800 poweramp & grand prix preamp. [attachment=24228:St800_rig_1.jpg] A beautiful sounding Baby baby blue combo, its so versatile & can be used with my goliath junior 2 x10 for a small gig rig. Cab in one hand, combo in the other. Can also be used as a standalone rig. [attachment=24229:Swrbbb_1.jpg] Some seem to forget back in the late 80's early nineties Swr was one of the few manufacturers making small lightweight bass cabs. Oh! A special mention should go to fellow basschatter (mrbassman) Keith. Cheers mate.
  18. Hi there dmz, the lakkie's looking & sounding as superb as the day i had it from you. Thank you so much for parting with it. Your 55-94 fretless looked & sounded superb, when you played it for me, its pity i can't play fretless.
  19. Lol !! unfortunately the panelling belongs to the original owner of this bass.
