  1. Thanks, Yes it is and it sounds as good as it looks, too.

  5. Met up with John to complete a sale and swap. First time I've done that before! We realised while chatting earlier in the day that we must have lived very close to each other in Walker, Newcastle, back in the day. John is a great bloke to deal with and it was a completely smooth transaction. You can deal with him with absolute confidence.
  6. I have one of these and they are great quality amps. Ultra flexible EQ and all the power you would ever need. Bargain price too as they do not come up very often. Good luck with the sale.
  7. Thank you.
  8. Is there an English version of the Handbox website?
  9. That's a shame, just too far away.
  10. Just sold my Aguilar DB751 to Bazza. A great guy to meet and chat with, very knowlegeable. Great comms and instant payment. Deal with him with utmost confidence - a real credit to Basschat.
  11. Just sold my Elwood short scale to jacq. Great comms and payments. I was due to meet him at Donington but I had been ill the night before so he drove the extra distance to Woolley Edge to complete the deal (thank you so much J). He is a really nice guy and it was a pleasure to meet with him. He is a real credit to Basschat and you can deal with him with utmost confidence.
  12. Can meet up halfway if that helps?
  13. What's the string spacing at the bridge please?
  14. I think you would find the build quality of these basses is much better than Fenders.
  15. No worries Jon. We sometimes come to Liverpool to see our son. Alternatively we could meet up along the M62 somewhere.
  16. I can confirm that the string spacing is 19mm at the bridge. That's much my preferred spacing.
  17. Hi Jon Unfortunately I've never played a Mustang but I can confirm it has 22 frets with a string spacing of 19mm at the bridge.
  18. Unfortunately I don't have a manufacturer's spec on the radius but I have some gauges that would suggest it's around a 10" radius at the 12th fret. I kept looking at it when it was on the Bass Direct website too til GAS got the better of me and I bought it! Cost me £1150 as I recall - not cheap but real quality.
  19. Thanks. Yes, they're really fun and so easy to play.
  20. For sure this takes some beating. I used to run it through a Bergantino NV412 and it sounded absolutely awesome.
  21. Thanks, it really is something special.
  22. Thanks, it's a beauty but the slippers aren't for sale (unless they can sweeten the deal that is!)
  23. It had that effect on me too!
  24. I bought this bass new from Bass Direct last year to help me recover from a replacement shoulder operation following a fall that ruptured the tendons in my shoulder. It did its job perfectly but I'm now back playing my long scale basses again, so this must be offered for sale. The bass is in mint condition and comes with Maruszczyk branded gig bag, tools and paperwork. Body - Ash Neck - hard rock maple - 30" scale Fingerboard - katalox (rosewood) 19mm string spacing Maruszczyk pickups (passive) Colour - Transparent black burst. Collection from Leeds or meet up within 50 miles.
  25. Yes, they are indeed right up there with the best.
