  1. Have a self-interested bump on me, Rich. All the best Pete
  2. You could always make me an offer, Richard. It's waiting here for some lucky person to snap it up.
  3. Thanks, Richard, it is indeed an excellent bass.
  4. Hi Steve. Thanks for that. You're absolutely right. I have a 2013 USA Fender P bass and the BG is more than a match for it. It's just that wider nut width that stops me from keeping it. Otherwise there's no way it would be up for sale. Cheers, Pete
  5. Hi Dougie I'm afraid not. I'm sure it's a great bass but I get confused by 5 strings. Must be my age getting to me! All the best
  6. I'm sure you're right. It's a shame that it just doesn't fit my hand. In all other respects it's a great bass equal to - or better than - USA Fenders.
  7. Somewhat regretfully, I’ve decided to sell my Lakland Skyline 44-64 Bob Glaub signature ’64 P Bass as I simply cannot get used to the 1.75” nut width. I’m really a jazz bass player and that extra width I find uncomfortable. It’s a shame because it’s a great sounding bass and the upgrades that I had installed by a professional luthier really make a huge difference. These are Lindy Frailin pick ups, a tortoiseshell pickguard and D’addario Chromes flat wound strings or ProSteels as preferred. Comes with a Hiscox hard case or Lakland gigbag, as required. It’s a 2008 model, made in Korea, in Sunburst with a rosewood finger board. I’ve had it from new so it’s been well looked after. It is in mint condition as it has never been gigged and had only infrequent use at home. Rest assured these basses are right up there with the best in terms of build, tone and playability. Price is £595 collected from Leeds or meet up within a reasonable distance for the cost of the petrol.
  8. I have one of these basses. Strung with flats and fitted with Lindy Frailin pickups. Roll the tone control off and it's Precision perfection. Great basses. GLWTS.
  9. Bought a Radial Bassbone from Gareth. Great guy to deal with. It arrived very well packed and absolutely as he had described it. He even threw in a Y lead for the effects loop. Great communications and speedy despatch - arrived by next day's post. Thanks Gareth
  10. I have one of these. They are very, very under-rated basses. I could never understand why they called this a "Basic" as it's anything but. The build quality is top notch and they play superbly well. Best of luck with the sale.
