1. For sale is my Squier Affinity P Bass. I've upgraded the pick ups with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders and replaced the pickguard with a lovely tortoiseshell one (much stronger than the standard white one). The neck is the original one and is a Jazz style with a width at the nut of 11/2". There are a couple of dings on the body but nothing that affects the playability of the instrument. Would make an ideal starter bass or a back up. This machine really rocks.[s] £180[/s] £160. For that I'll include a Warwick gig bag. I'd prefer collection but will meet up within 50 miles of Leeds for the cost of the diesel.
2. I have one of these in Ivory. They are very under-rated basses. Best of luck with the sale. This is a real bargain.
3. Final price drop. If there's no interest at this price I'll withdraw it from sale. Grab yourself a bargain!
4. Friday bump to see if there is any interest?
5. Just sold a fretless neck to Kev. Great bloke to deal with. No hassle, great communications, immediate payment and very straightforward. You can deal with this guy with confidence. Highly recommended. Thanks Kev Cheers Pete
6. These are great little amps. I use mine with two gs112s for jazz gigs and they hold their own with drums, keys, guitar and brass section. Great price, too.
7. Hi Mart Glad things are working out with it. Thanks for your feedback. Kind regards, Pete
8. Just sold my Barefaced Compact to Mart. Went as smooth as clockwork. Great communications and no hassle meet-up arrangements. This guy's a real gent and a credit to Basschat. Totally trustworthy and honest. Thanks, Mart
9. Good luck with the sale, Rich. Hard times at the moment for buyers.
10. No interest in a great bass at a great price?
11. Thanks Richard. It is indeed a great bass and a bit of a reluctant sale but I need to cut the numbers down a bit! Kind regards Pete
12.
great 4 string! What´s the serial number?
Certainly is a great bass. It plays superbly. Serial number is 1874. When I bought this bass I tried a Metro, as it was cheaper. The NYC was far superior - chalk and cheese! At this price don't bother with a Metro when you can have the 'Real McCoy'!
13.
Lovely bass What is the weight? and what is the width at the nut? Cheers
Hi On the bathroom scales it says between 7 and 8lbs. As a guide it's a good one to two pounds lighter than my Overwater jazz. Width at the nut is the normal jazz standard of 1.5". The neck is very, very easy to play. Hope this helps Cheers Pete
14.
Lovely bass What is the weight? and what is the width at the nut? Cheers
Sorry I haven't been back to you. Just got in from agig. I'll weigh and measure it tomorrow (I mean today, looking at the time) and post it up. Regards, Pete
15. Up for sale is my Sadowsky NYC. It comes with the original Sadowsky case. Made in 2000, this is a beautiful bass and plays like a dream. I'm only selling it because I don't get along with maple fingerboards so it's just not being played. It really ought to go to someone who will appreciate it fully. I'm not interested in trades as I'm looking to raise cash for my next purchase. Price is [s]£1,900 £1.850[/s] now £1800 collected from Leeds or I'll meet up for the cost of the diesel. If it doesn't sell at this price I'm keeping it!
16. Would you be interested in any trades?
