I spoke to a guy called McGlorian. When he was adamant it wasn't one of his publications I asked to speak to his boss but apparently he was busy but promised to call me back. Needless to say he hasn't. I'll give it another go on Monday.

Couldn't agree more! BP is just a copy of BGM with different adverts. I had just renewed my subscription to BP as I also used to enjoy reading both magazines for their different content. I feel cheated. When I called Future Publishing to try to cancel my subscription to BP and claim some sort of refund I was told it wasn't one of their titles! That feels like daylight robbery and I'm pretty annoyed about it. Anyone got any ideas about how I can get some money back?

I've subscribed to both over many, many years now and still have outstanding subscriptions on both. Does anyone know if I can cancel one of them and claim a refund?

I need to move this on so price dropped to £900!! Got a new bass coming in so one has to go. Been a difficult decision but I'm putting this beautiful example up for sale. It and the case are in mint condition. If you've had the pleasure of playing the USA version of the e-volution you'll know how good these basses are. I've had both and can honestly say that the Expat series is as good as its USA cousin but without the hefty price tag for the exotic woods. The website details are as follows. The Expat e-volution basses feature the same components and specifications found on USA Gold Series basses. US Bartolini jazz coil pickups and 3-band pre-amp with active/passive and 3-way mid-frequency. US made hardware by Hipshot. Wenge fretboard with MOP position markers. Solid swamp ash bodies with satin finishes. Expat e-volution features: 34" scale 4-string 24 frets + zero fret swamp ash body satin finish 3-piece quarter-sawn maple neck quarter-sawn wenge fretboard 2-way adjustable truss rod Bartolini Jazz pickups * Bartolini 3-band pre-amp w/3-way mid and active bypass * fully shielded control cavity satin Hipshot Ultra-light tuners * satin Elrick bridge * Dunlop Dual Design strap buttons (Straplok compatible!)* Elrick Fundamental strings * Elrick Zero Gravity case I wouldn't want to post this so try-before-you-buy is welcomed or a meet up within a reasonable distance is also an option. Would be willing to trade for something of similar value, or less with cash my way. Doesn't necessarily have to be another bass. Let me know what you've got. Thanks for looking

For sale is my Aguilar GS212. I bought it from Lee-Man of this parish and I've added a brand new Roqsolid cover and rubber feet (casters included). As such I'm only asking what I paid for it plus a bit towards the cost of the cover. I've used Lee's pics as they are better than I can manage so I hope he doesn't mind. Cab is in great condition and sounds superb. Only selling as I'm going down the 2 x 112 route. Happy to meet up within a reasonable distance as it's too heavy to post. Spec is as follows Features Two 12" cast frame woofers, 56 oz. magnet Phenolic tweeter with integral phase plug Custom crossover with variable tweeter control Deep dish handles, locking corners 7 ply, void-free Philippine Mahogany Specifications Inputs: 1 x Neutrik Speakon, 2 x 1/4" Jack Power Handling: 600 watts RMS Frequency Response: 41 Hz - 16 kHz Sensitivity: 98 dB 1W 1M Impedance: 8 ohms Dimensions: 24" (H) x 22.5" (W) x 16.5" (D) Weight: 31.8Kg

The 'elephant ear' part on one of the tuners on my Classic Vibe Jazz has started rattling. I've tried to nip it up with pliers but with only limited success. Has anyone experienced this before? Is it a write off? If so where can I buy a single replacement that will match the other tuners? I've put a post in the "Items Wanted" section as it would seem that the only option from a supplier is to buy a set of four. Hope someone can help Kind regards
