I would seriously consider borrowing or buying another cheap bass and getting the drift of playing rather than making any changes to something that has got some history like this bass. Would be a shame I reckon. Andy

Did anyone else go? Had a real nostalgia trip. Could find fault if I wanted to be picky, but i wasn't there to compare with the original. I had a great night and full praise to the band for an excellent 2hr+ show. Well worth catching if your a 'floydie', or even if you aren't. For the gear freaks he had 2 precisions (one well thumbed and one newish looking with a p/j pickup set up) and a lakland 5 string with a stingray style headstock. Best I can do guys.
