1. go on stringsdirect.co.uk they do a few singles i think
2. Stagg BC300. Utterly shocking and is without a doubt the cheapest and nastiest bass i have ever played. Made more from plastic cups than actual wood, and certainly sounded like it too
3. super huge. sounds sooo nice though
4. Reset - Set Your Goals
5. PM warwickhunt as he'll probably know or be able to ask someone on the warwick forum who'll know Absolutely gorgeous bass by the way. One of the nicest Infinity's i've ever seen
6. I'll go that a go this weekend then. I'll let you know if it helps
7. Dirk Lance Used Warwick Basses (Streamer Stage II 5 strings) with a HUGE eden rig (pre-amps, power amps and cabs) Have a gander here Dirk's Bass Rig As you can see, i want his tone also haha
8. another good sikth track for some nicely timed slap would be the beginning of summer rain too
9. I've noticed that the output limit light on my amp lights up quite a lot on my amp, this is with the EQ set fairly flat with a touch of added treble and bass and the gain at 12 o'clock and master usually on about 11-12 o'clock. Is this something bad?
10. Lesley Grantham
11. Going to have to get those UV Orange strings! Hope theyre not going to be like £45 ¬_¬
12. Are they bartolini pickups? Beautiful Corvette by the way
13. To be fair, this list is hugely better than the NME and BBC compiled list
14. Had a lecture today on innovations etc and it got me thinking... What are the best and most innovative products in the bass world? There are quite a few i thought of straight away e.g. Neo Cabs and different pickups (ChiSonic's in particular) What would you say have been the best?
15. I met him when i saw them in birmingham a while ago. Really nice bloke who's very down to earth. Love his playing and he was ace live too, very talented player. Plus he's been in a video with Hank Hill, so that makes him an even more legendary guy haha
16.
our beer beats yours since the beginning of mankind
17. His face at 1:24! Really nice playing though and quite a nice idea
18. Rics, Fender Jaguars, Les Paul Basses. One thing i've noticed that seems to be able to destroy a good looking bass is those bloody horrible Egg shaped Delano pickups.
19. I want this soooo bad. Student loan get in my bank!
20. I really like number 16, but the logo reminds me a bit of Machinehead's logo haha. Beautiful basses though
21. I've always wondered about this actually. I just got the idea that the EQ would be more powerful and have a larger output
22. That is so nice
23. depends where on the fretboard really, ring or pinkie though
24.
Ah the life of a musician!
Or a decorator it would seem haha. If i was closer i'd would definitely get some lessons off you. Cracking player, and just to stare in amazement at the Dirty Blonde and Streamer Stage II
