16. iv got the lowdown and i like it but the tones they promise such as the ampeg sound nothing like it, plus all the other effects are a bit of a novelty so id go for the ashdown
 17. NME is a load of sh*t that just feature flavour of the month bands that are crap! Why include the guy out of the cribs? hes an ok player and everything but hes no Geddy! its all just a popularity poll
 18. As much as this is paining me to do, my rather beloved LTD has to go. This was the bass i played my first gig with so its hard to see it go, but needs must. Im off to uni soon so im looking at trying to make some money before i go, but i would definitely be up for trades as well this being something jazzy (with money either way) just tell me what you've got basically. Im mainly interested in getting a decent enough head to gig with so that would be high up on the list. SWR, Ashdown that kind of thing but 100% no peaveys. Price wise what do you all reckon to around the £400 mark? I bought this for £650 so i feel thats a pretty good price knocking off £250 for a really good condition bass Sales Blurb: The ESP Surveyor 400 4-String Bass has features you'd find on a custom, boutique bass. Powered by active USA EMG pickups including the MMTW-4 MusicMan at the bridge and the 35P4 at the neck. Dial in your tone with the B-30 Rev-S, 3-Band EQ with mini-switch coil-tap (bridge p/u). The bolt-on, Maple neck has an extra-thin, u-shape profile, dot inlays and 21 XJ frets. In Gloss Black with a beautiful ebony fingerboard. Features chrome hardware, ESP-LTD tuners, and a Wilkinson Licensed WBBC-4 bridge £400 anyone? PM me! New Pics (very amateur lol)
 19.
Hi Randy, thanks for the advice, I know Jamie from Merben and will go and see him sometime...in the meantime I have asked my son's violin teacher if he can help me out, more from a point of view of technique than anything else, he has given me some scales to learn so that's what I'm doing for now! BTW are you in any band(s) locally? The music scene around here seems pretty good at the moment (despite lack of bass tutors) Regards, Adrian
glad you found something half decent in the end im in a couple of bands locally, Down with vegas, Insult to Injury and Switch off system if you've seen any of those?
 20.
I just remember that single, it was very funky indeed. I lost it during a lightning storm along with the rest of my mp3 collection
was that Ailse 10 (Hello Alison)?
Freeway is just sublimely funky, how come I've not heard of this lot before then????
best bass track on the album. Space to share is also just a really nice track. I only heard of them through a game called Jet Set Radio Future, one of the best games ever imo
 21. Having a listen to their album again and theres some really nice bass playing There must be a few people on here who like them or have heard of them!
