i had to improv a walking bassline in Bb and then i played "I feel good" with the rest of the band. and ive had to wait till now till they made the decision.

ive been looking for a cheapie p bass copy as a backup or kind of chuck in the car last moment before heading off to a jam JD/SX seem to get good reviews citing them as better than what you pay for and a good backup/workhorse i wondered if anyone had any experience of them?

Pates Grammar they play pretty much everything from that church but not so much dixie or blues as there are seperate bands for that i dont mean to play anything by hamm but that was an example of the complexity of the solo i was looking at
