i had to improv a walking bassline in Bb and then i played "I feel good" with the rest of the band.
and ive had to wait till now till they made the decision.
ive been looking for a cheapie p bass copy as a backup or kind of chuck in the car last moment before heading off to a jam
JD/SX seem to get good reviews citing them as better than what you pay for and a good backup/workhorse
i wondered if anyone had any experience of them?

well i can play the chicken so i thought about that or maybe teen town but im not so confident with that but i have till tues.

they play pretty much everything from that church but not so much dixie or blues as there are seperate bands for that
i dont mean to play anything by hamm but that was an example of the complexity of the solo i was looking at
