1. I like that so much it hurts.
2. Strangely interested in the iamp... do you have a price in mind?
3.
that'll be your valve grit.
I'm just trying to sex it up a bit... the other photos I took had a scantily clad lady holding the DI box between her cleavage in a suggestive fashion, but I thought I would be a bit too racy for basschat.
4. Here's something I don't use at all any more.... I actually bought it for recording vocals etc. Cost me well over €500! It's in pretty much perfect condition. Never used it on bass, but I know a lot of people do. Would make a super flash / flexible DI box for someone! Here's a review... http://emusician.com/mag/quickpick/emusic_summit_audio_3/ I'm looking for a very reasonable £220. Buyer pays postage and paypal fees. Here's a picture of the actual unit. I can take more detailed photos if anyone is interested. Thanks!
5. That is so cool.
6. Fair play to you Andy, your doing the right thing! Don't worry, you'll get another chance to own some nice basses.... These are all very lovely. I don't need any more basses at the moment, but good luck with the sale, I'm sure you won't have too much trouble getting rid of them!
7. Anyone interested? As far as I'm aware, this is a pretty good price for a minty LM2.... signed by the Markman himself no less!!
8. Here it is again, but with some better pictures. Almost mint condition.... the only scratches are some very small ones on the side where the gig bag doesn't cover the amp (for cooling), but I don't know why I'm even mentioning them because they're pathetically small. I'm after €450 firm. That translates as £382. But... buyer pays for shipping (about £25 to the UK), plus all paypal fees. I'm pretty sure I want cash for this.... but there's always a niggling little doubt in my head that someone will have something totally fantastic they want to trade! I'm considering one of those new orange iso 2x12 cabs on the offchance that anyone is getting rid of one.... Guitar wise, I don't think I need anything else, but I'm weak when it comes to pretty basses, so it can't hurt to ask. Thanks, Jesse
9. Hey Kevin, I sent you another PM about doing a deal.... Thanks, Jesse
10. Pm me if you still have this... although duh..... I just noticed the date this was posted! Slim chance it's still up for sale!
11. Possible px in the works.... But just in-case theres' anyone else out there with something to trade here's a wee bump.
12.
Now that is how to stack two 2x10s. Love it. Good luck with the sale mate C
Yeah it's the best way to go with 2 x 210 cabs. Don't actually have those cabs anymore... I do miss them from time to time, specially in bigger rooms. Really diggin the GS112 cabs I replaced them with though!
13. Ok relisted this with better pics, so might be an idea to delete this thread....
14.
Still here, still for sale. Little Mark II heads seem to sell for £400, so for only £550 you get the combo. Must be a decent deal? Frank.
Hey Frank, I've sent you a pm....
15.
The Boss 3 band paramteric EQ pedal is/was a very good piece of kit. I twas the firts pedal I ever bought and I frequently chastise myself for seling it during one of my many ill-advised ventures into Multi FX territory. However, they stopped making thos epedals some years ago, hence the high value. Also, I'd feel a bit scared gigging it knowing that I'd probaby not find a replacement easily. The MXR Bass DI+ is a brilliant pedal. I bought one earlier this year and it has totally transformed my sound. I'm always getting compliments on my bass tone and gigs and rehearsals are a doddle nowadays - gigs I can guarantee a pretty decent sound through anything with enough headroom and decent speakers and gigs - I just send a signal from the DI and run my amp flat for monitoring. Wonderful. I read an interview with John Entwistle where he said he used a parametric EQ to remove 1kHz from his sound. I tried it and the difference in tone is remarkable and that's the point of proper EQing - it's more than a selection of EQ curves it's about subtlety.
Cool some useful stuff there. I'm bidding on an MXR M80, and I may pick up one of those Boss pedals too... Nice thing about pedals is they're very easy to move on when you decide you don't want them any more!
16. PM'D!!!
17. Hey Phil, Thanks for the input. That pedal looks cool, and yeah I'd love something that did eq plus distortion... but my pedal board is so small I can only fit something small in there!
18.
I imagine Boss thought bass players had more need/desire for a parametric EQ pedal, but there's no reason why you couldn't use it on any signal.
Thanks peeps. I like the look of that ebay boss pedal, although I tend to stay away from boss stuff.... I'm kinda lookin for something a bit special, or at least something very musical. Blunt but musical. That's the kind of gear I like. Stuff that's impossible to make sound bad. To put it another way - idiot proof EQ!
19. Hey folks, I'm delighted with my new terror bass.... it's awesome. I'm missing a bit of the mid poke that I was able to get from my LM2 though..... the mid eq on the terror bass doesn't quite do what I want it to do, despite sounding very nice. I'm looking for a nice eq to add to my pedal collection that will help with this. Any suggestions? Cheers, Jesse
20. Next in line after Phaedrus for the Big muff!
21.
gentlemen, this is sold pending the usual
Next in line if it falls through....
22.
Well its a 500watt amp so aslong as you aren't overloading the preamp it'll do clean and loud pretty well
Yep it does clean very well, with a touch of gain it sounds lush. You don't have to overdrive it too much to get the full potential of the amp really. Highly recommended.
