1. Good stuff Si, have a bump for your ultimate Markbass rig! By the way, I have the V4BH pumping at 4 ohms now through my 2 102HF cabs, glad I didn't sell it to you now!
 2. Where are you Platypus? I've nearly cleared this with my wife! (Nothing guarenteed yet though!)
 3. You have a message.
 4. Very nice! Have a bumpo. Would be tempted myself, but the amp buying madness has to stop somewhere!
 5. How mucho friend? Also, if you have a few pics you could send me... im in the market for a ray.
 6. This thread needs more pics. Just updated my rig... here are the before and after pics. Got rid of the Jeff Berlin in favour of a 2nd 102HF and a seperate LM2. Use the ampeg in smaller rooms, it sounds better. The markbass cabs are fantastic. Specially the 2 of em together. Lots of poke, light and versatile.
 7.
sorry - sold ages ago. I did change the title, so many apologies. I actually regretted selling, adn have just bought another one lol
Thanks! Im just about to buy one.... do you reckon I should hold on for a 2nd hand one? I shouldnt think they come up too often. My local markbass stockist has given me a price of 870 euros, which seem steep, but also aint that far off the going rate it seems.... these little cabs are getting expensive! I actually already have one, and really like it. They are also doing a new LM2 aniversary edition for €700, and p\x'ing my Jeff Berlin Combo. Theyve offered me €770 for the Jeff Berlin.... so basically I would be swapping the Berlin and €800 for a new 102HF and LM2. Whatcha reckon? Jesse
 8.
bump.
I would buy this straight away if its still for sale and you can send it to Ireland. I'll of course pay for postage. Thanks, Jesse
 9.
I agree with the above (Garcia) just add another 8Ohm cab for more volume (parallel with another 8Ohm & sel.switch on 4Ohm).. however, though made in usa by 'Crate' I believe (is that good?) & not 'Chinese' (is that bad?) .. I still think this amp is not what you're really looking for Jesse .. I've heard they are rubbish !! So I think you should get rid whilst someone naive like me really wants (to try) one ... so sell it to me !! lol (actually haven't heard a bad thing about 'm) Enjoy it .. I'm guessing it likes to be cranked ! Si ps. was really looking forward to 'cranking' that myself !
Thanks Si, I'll put it to good use! I've actually lent out my 2nd cab to a mate, so I can't try it at 4 ohms yet. If I'm disapointed, I'll be in touch don't worry!
 10.
Valve amps put the same load out regardless of impedance I'm afraid, so it won't be any louder at 4 ohms. If you're running more cabs to get it down to 4 then it will still sound bigger anyway though.
Its not the vintage version, but heres a pic anyway! I know it won't be putting out any more watts at 4 ohms, but like you say it should sound "bigger", especially since im just running it through a markbass 102HF at the moment. Sounds fantastic, but only for smaller gigs me thinks.
 11.
He doesn't indeed. For some reason Markbass forgot that when they made the first ones.
Hi here are a few photos I took of the Jeff Berlin last night. All working perfectly. Its a great combo. Looking for €850 which is £754 plus postage. Thanks!
 12.
It does sound amazing alright. I just gave it a spin tonight. I will keep it for sure if no-one is biting my hand off!
Ok folks, sorry about this, but I'm holding on to this badboy. It just sounds too nice. I'd kind of forgotten how it sounded. Used it for band practice last night. Plus I still have to try it at 4 ohms, which should make it quite a bit louder. I'll sell something else instead, probably my minimark. Thanks everyone!
 13.
Im amazed this hasn't gone yet! Ive got the vintage version (V4B-AV) These are a killer bass amp - buy it now!!!
It does sound amazing alright. I just gave it a spin tonight. I will keep it for sure if no-one is biting my hand off!
 14.
Is the Berlin the early version with the tweeter or the later one without?
Hi theres no tweeter. Jeff Berlin says he don't like em.
 15.
I don't even have this yet, I'm not collecting it until this evening. I was looking forward to using it as a lightweight alternative to my racked Epifani head, but there are a couple of items that I'm desperate to buy, one being a Sei 5 string jazz and I still want another Epifani 3x10, having had my chance to buy Old horse Murphies scupperred by the need to pay for a new gearbox for my car. Anyway, I'm told that it's in excellent condition and comes with an aluminium case. Photos to follow later this evening. I'm open to sensible offers around the £400 mark, plus shipping etc.
Hi, It's second hand I presume? I'm looking at buying a new one over here in Dublin for €700, so I might be interested! Many thanks, Jesse
 16.
Another Epifani Clarky- a 212. If I could keep both, I would. This is a seriously good cab Thanks for your glowing endorsement BTW
Do you prefer the 212? I'd be interested but im in Dublin Ireland probly too expensive/too much hassle to post it. Im in the middle of selling off some markbass (jeff Berlin) and ampeg (V4BH) stuff, was gunna replace it with either an epifani UL310, a second markbass 210HF, or maybe a markbass 410 of some description.
 17.
You have no idea how annoying thisa is, i just bought my amp, and im in Wexford, and im in dublin for the next two weeks. Lovely head, good luck with the sale anyway.
Ah well sure thats life I suppose! What did you buy?
 18.
BUMP!
Would you be interested in shipping it to Dublin or is that too much hassle? If so how much for the shipping? Also, do you have any photos of condition? Thanks!
 19.
Hmm, Berlin combo looks great! I'll PM you, although I doubt you'll be interested..I'm not sure if I should do it anyways Cheers!
Hi Matt, I pm'd you! Jesse
 20.
Whereabouts are you located friend?
Hi im located in Dublin Ireland. Dun Laoighre actually, which is the first stop when you get off the ferry from Hollyhead.
 21. This one was made in America. Bought it new about 3 years ago I think. Looking for 500 quid. Its in great nick with 4 brand new groove tube power valves. More photos 2mro if anyones interested. Thanks, Jesse
 22. Hi people, I have a mint Jeff Berlin (just over a year old) and a mint minimark for sale or swap for something Epifani shaped.... I'm in Dublin though, so shipping could be an issue (i.e. It'll cost a few quid to post). Both of em have lovely red silverstone amp covers. I'll be taking some better photos 2moro. Oh, the Jeff Berlin is missing the extra piece that covers the rear top part of the amp for access to the power cable etc. No big deal.
 23. Heres mine. Jeff Berlin and minimark FOR SALE or swap for some kind of Epifani cabs.
