++++++TRADED++++++++ Hi all, Well, since I recently got my hands on an 8 ohm tecamp combo, this cab unfortunately dosen't suit my needs any more, which is a shame cos it's the best cab I've ever had (so far!) There's been plenty written about these cabs, but I can confirm that they are all they are supposed to be, and if it was 8 ohms I'd keep it. I'm after a replacement to act as either a standalone but mainly as an extension for my tecamp, so it's got to be an 8 ohm cab. I'm pretty open to good quality suggestions, so hit me up with what you've got. I'm not really looking for anything heavy though if possible, as my back is a bit dodgy at the moment. If there's cash to be added either way in a trade, I'm up for that. Value wise, I reckon this EBS cab is worth about £400 as it's as new with a brand new roqsolid (£37) cover. I paid a fair bit more than that for it. I bought it from a guy at the start of the year who was endorsed by EBS, and only had used this cab 3 times! Since then I've gigged it maybe 15 times max. These are £883 on Thomann. Keep in mind, there'll be some postage involved as I'm in Ireland. I'll pay the postage to you, and visa versa.

Bigwan, do you have a link for that cab?
How much more oomph do you need? I'm thinking of selling my Tech Soundsystems (now called tecamp) 4x12 (8 ohms), and would you look at that, you're not far away... Might be too much though...
Errrmmm.... might be a touch too big for me! Although then again, I'm thinking about a big one (barefaced) which may be overkill.... but I'd like the option of using whichever cab I choose on it's own if I like, (for variety's sake!) When you say I'm not that far away.... you do know I'm in Ireland right?

I know in theory it shouldn't make a difference, but so far any time I've had a rear ported cab I've felt that the projection changes.... like there is more on stage sound, and not as much sound out front. I could be imagining it! Do you happen to know if the clipping issue is me clipping the pre amp or the power amp by the way?
-
The matching cab would be the xs112.... which would be rear ported too as far as I know.

Hi all, Just wondering if there is anyone out there with experience of adding an extension cab to the Tecamp 212 puma combo. I recently got my hands on this combo, and it's excellent in almost way. But I was clipping at the last gig I played. It was a big room to loads of people, but I always have P.A. support.... so it's not a real problem as I could still hear myself easily, just felt I was missing a bit of "heft" behind me. I reckon this is due to the cab being 8 ohms mainly as well as me not being used to a rear ported cab. So..... I was thinking that maybe a front ported 1x12 of some type would be quite sweet for bigger rooms. Anyone got any suggestions or experience? Should I be considering cab sensitivity? Could that be a possible issue? Thanks!

Traded an orange / aggie rig for Mark's tecamp. Nothing but good things to say about the deal, Mark made it all very easy and is brilliant to deal with. Thanks Mark for the painless trade, I'm looking forward to trying the amp out this weekend, and I hope you like the orange/aggies! Jesse

Hi Maty, Don't have any recordings unfortunately. Sounds great as you would expect though. Tried it out today and it made me wonder why I'm getting rid of it again.... then I remembered that I'm a total idiot and have a compulsive need to change my perfectly good gear for the stupidest of reasons as often as possible. Yep I'm in negotiations with Tredders regarding a trade for his tecamp... looks like it'll go ahead fingers crossed. Do you have a tecamp up for trade also? Just incase this trade doesn't work out.

Hey folks, This is up for sale or trade. Photo'd beside a precision for scale.... (yes yes I know I need to do the washing up!) Terror head is in as new condition with bag. £360 shipped. Aguilar GS 112 in good but gigged condition (with tweeter). Loaded with Eminance deltliteII neo speaker. Comes with Silverstone cover. Much lighter than original, and more mid focused. Not the usual scooped sound of a GS112 with this driver.... more punchy I reckon. £265 shipped. Prices are firm, but open to trades for light weight combos/heads/cabs. Try me! Jesse

I have an Orange Terror Bass 500. It's lovely. But I'm after something that can also do modern. It's in totally perfect condition, I've owned it from new. I'm ideally looking for an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 - (I have the pedal and love it). I would be able to add some cash to the deal if needs be. I'm also open to suggestions if you have something else that might do a similar job to the aguilar. I'm also interested in Barefaced cabs if you have one, but they seem to be like hens teeth on the 2nd hand market, so I'm not holding my breath.
