    This thread has been far too inactive. Can anyone remind me of what the "normal" thinking is re:strings for a 32"? I can't remember if I can buy standard long scale ones or if short scales fit or if it's even more niche than that...

    Hello, Picked this up on here recently but after a bit of experimentation I'm moving it on again. £75 posted ***SOLD*** Its a variable High Pass Filter, Low Pass Filter, and Boost/DI. Built by one of basschat's finest (not me!) Its currently set so that the footswitch engages the LPF. (You can modify this setting internally, you'll need to read the Schalltechnik_04 documents to work out how!)     Picked this up recently because I've been wanting to try out the latest generation of Boss modelling. Verdict: very good indeed, but I'm still not a multiFX guy. Comes with power supply and also with the Bluetooth module for audio playback/app control (sold separately by Boss). Boxed and in good condition. Some slight residue/marking on the bottom from having velcro installed previously.     Hi folks I have decided to part ways with my P bass - I have begrudgingly accepted my role as a Jazz man This is a Fender Player series Precision bass in tidepool blue. Bought new by me in 2020 (I think) and well looked after. I changed the wiring loom to a Ki0gon one but other than that the guitar remains as stock. Tidepool is quite difficult to photograph, its got a slight metallic nature so it changes a bit with the light. Hopefully I've captured it quite well but please ask for more pics. I can potentially post this at cost but would vastly prefer local pickup.     Still really enjoying my SFG Jazz, but a bit of tinkering has definitely revealed where Squier cut the corners. I've replaced the pickups and the wiring loom with some Dimarzios / Ki0gon gear and it was a really frustrating experience tbh. The holes for the control plate (and for the pickups themselves) seem to be positioned right on the edge of tolerance so I had a hell of a time getting everything lined up. And whilst I was in there I realised that the pickup cavities (particularly for the neck pickup) were a bit of a mess. I also suspect the pickup cavities are cut slightly too deep because I am probably going to need more foam to get the bridge pickup adjusted right. Now, I'm not really complaining---the basic bass cost £259 for goodness sake---but its almost reassuring to see the difference between this and my more expensive basses. Next up will be to replace the strings but I'm not quite sure what for yet.

    EBS Bass IQ in good used condition £120 posted Been on a bit of a filter odyssey recently. This is a fantastic filter---probably my favourite of the envelope filters I've tried---but I've concluded that I prefer wah. PS realised i have the box for this too.

    Pretty sure I got a pickguard for my Vintera jazz from earlpilanz on ebay. I'd be amazed if he doesn't do a P equivalent.
