I mean, the ABM can handle 1200w vs 800w MAG, construction is better in the ABM. Isn't MAG made in far east and ABM in the UK? I'm powering it with a GK 1001RBII...so I'm looking for a wall of sound really! A ground shaking low end is a must!

Does anyone know of a 2x15 @ 8 ohms in the market? I know Dr. Bass can make them...but is there any other brand doing it? They all seem to be 4ohms

Hum...interesting. Is there any 2x15 good bass cab with powerful wattage in the market? I just loooved the low end. Or two 1x15 for that matter that make a good rig? Any 15" freaks around here? PS - has anyone ever played a 18"? curious about the sound

Ok, so it looks like it's a sub. What if one get a normal PA woofer (not a sub), would it be the same as a bass cab with say a 15"?...or play through a sub and a cab with 10"s perhaps? That way would it cover the entire frequency range?

I played my amp through a 2x15 JBL 1000w @ 4ohms PA monitor the other day (can't remember the model). It sounded a bit muddy, lacked a bit of definition, maybe if I spent more time playing with eq I could get a better sound, anyway it was damn loud and bassy with plenty of low end I was wondering what's the difference between PA monitors and bass cabs really, especially now that so many players are playing through DI boxes into the PA, they are using PA monitors after all. Any thoughts?

Quite versatile as well, 2 channels, and very cheap, you can get one secondhand for a very low price, just do some research

Well...I'm really looking forward to play with it in the studio, hopefully it will cut through better than the peavey and don't need to push it so hard.

I bought a GK 1001RBII + 410 RBX (400w 8ohms) today!!! ;D Still waiting for arrival though. I was wondering, I play with a Peavey Max 450 + Peavey 410 TVX 4ohm on my rehearsal room...do you think I'll notice a big difference in the sound, will my rig sound louder/better? 8)

Does mixing 2 different GK cabs (410RBH with 115RBX or vice versa) affects the sound in a positive or negative way? Any thoughts on mixing cabs?

Is there some sort of 'enhaced' version you would recommend? I thought i could use a power conditioner/ strip as a 'normal' power strip and just plug stuff in?!?

Thinking about getting one for my rack. I've checked the Samson PS10 and Furman MX-8, both quite cheap. Are they any good? Any recommendations on other models or brands? Not looking to spend a fortune though. Cheers!
