The few places to play in Worcester are on my blog. The Marrs Barrs is the biggest/ full-time venue.
Connected in series or parallel?
If you were running 2 x 8 ohm cabs in parallel the impedance would be 4 ohms.

As above, I'd suggest speaking to the people you bought the amp from.
Good luck
There was one in Bath last year - I haven't looked but maybe there's another this year?
I think it was this one: http://www.igf.org.uk/workshops/workshop-g...p;location=Bath
Bit late now, but this was £35 last week: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?Module...14&doy=22m2
The pickguard holes are in the same places as my CIJ. My serial number is in the same grey colour but mine has Crafted In Japan underneath it; not sure if MIJ have Made In Japan written in the same place. Can we see a close up of the head stock as the truss rod end looks unusual for a Jazz unless it is a JB75-100US?
Have you had a look at http://www.fenderjapan.co.jp/fender/2007fender/jazzbass.htm
