In my experience a Thomann setup is not enough. They will fit the strings you want but the bass arrives with the bridge unattached and strings fitted only loosely. You'll need a proper setup - allow about £100.

Some amps are switchable for voltage but some require a transformer. When you look at the dream price don't forget to add shipping and then add another 25-30% for customs duty plus VAT plus handling charge.

Get a passive fretless Fender and put on John East Retro preamp in it. Sorted.

1970s and 1990s reissue with De Armond Gold Tone humbuckers ...
