5.
...wouldn't they look so much better with a rosewood-n-blocks board than maple?
Correct.

 7.
OT but which black nylons do you use? I tried some Roto TruBass on my Eko fretless acoustic and they were too plasticky sounding. I'm currently using TI Flats on it
TI Flats on mine too.
 8. Bilbo allowed me the excellent opportunity of reading chapter 1 (that's before the amendments) and I recommend we all buy a copy. Fascinating. Good luck with the amendments Rob.
 9. Congratulations. If that's the one they've had in for a while then I've had a go on it. Very nice.
 10. What do we think of this? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT
 11.
....It's Peake's bass line you hear on the Jackson Five's I Want You Back and ABC.... Is it?
Definitely Wilton Felder on I Want You Back.
 12.
(Kyron @ Jun 30 2011, 07:23 PM) Dave sold me his Son's Korg EMX Synth/Sequencer Excellent Communication and when it arrived (Well-Packaged of Course!), all Minor faults were exactly as described; I was made fully aware ,before buying, in perfect Detail I'm yet to meet a Better BC'er to deal with! Kyron
Too generous Kyron, thanks very much.
 13. I seem to remember Basschatter wesfinn did this. I don't suppose he is the only one.
 14. I sold Kyron an Electribe EMX. Excellent communication, speedy payment, and very straightforward to deal with. I recommend you deal with Kyron at your earliest opportunity.
 15. I used to be in a band which styled its music POPROKADELICA
 16. I have one exactly like this. Very nice bass but I think in the present climate £1000 is steep. Especially as the tugbar has been moved and two new screw holes added. Also, pickup only from Bristol doesn't help and the pics are very poor.
 17. In my experience Parcelforce are no worse than anyone else. In fact, on average, I'd say they are better than most of the others. My worst experiences are all with City Link who are particularly awful. I won't bore you with the details
 18.
I guess I'll have to order a set of Detroit Flats and hope for the best.
And did you, and were they the correct ones?
 19.
Just for the record (I know this is an old thread) they could possibly be LaBella 'Jamersons'. The blue of the silk looks to be the same colour and ball is also the same a s pic'd... brassy looking. However, the Jamersons have VERY high tension so that is a dead give-away. If they are not high tension they are not Jamersons.
Just for the record, the string we were looking at didnt have any silk.
 20.
I knew it was one or the other
So did I.
 21. Glyn bought a TASCAM MP3-BT from me. Straightforward deal. Recommended.
 22.
Just give it time, it'll come. If you need dots on the side of the neck, just do what I used to do and use Typex or chalk
... and make that flourescent Tippex.
