That sounds like a medium scale string got mixed in with a long scale set at the La Bella factory. Email them and they might send a replacement.

Do whatever works for you. I use one finger, occasionally two, never more.

I would describe the DR flats as quite bright - which I would not usually like but I am now liking them.

I have DR Legend flats on my Lakland Decade.

'Mostly people's opinion' is probably correct. I would have called La Bella 760FS much more tense than GHS Precisions.

But if they are out of control and not playing for the band then either you leave or they get sacked. That's how I would see it. EDIT: Life's too short.

If out of control then it's irrelevant what instrument is being played.

The 'I Want You Back' bassline, like a lot of great basslines, works all on its own without the rest of the music; it's a tune in itself.
