  4. I have 2 of these in Tango orange and Blue metallic, I absolutely love them! Now my go to bass and I have basses worth thousands upstairs. Just the right scale length and easy for a 75 year old to play, thinking of buying the red one to mod a bit, I have a dimarzio dp27 laid around, hmmmm.... anyone selling one? any colour?
  5. Hi all, I sold this on in late 2020 as I didn't like it. Now I've bought it back because the friend I sold it to has now gone into a care home. So it's here for sale now. It's the very rare midnight blue finish with the maple board, it is the USA model and it was over 2 grand new. I just want to move it on now so it's well priced. Here's a link to the spec: https://www.music-man.com/instruments/basses/short-scale-stingray It comes with the hardcase and straplocks etc' Thanks for looking.
  6. does this have side markers on the neck? I prefer maple but if the dots on the side are clear enough....pic please?
  7. Thanks. guys, I've decided on the Novation, it seems like the easiest way to go for me at the moment so it'll be here tomorrow. I'll let y'all know how it goes. 👍 Thanks again for all your inputs.

  9. Thanks Pete and Trueno, Currently looking at hofners...
  10. cheers SH
  11. Thanks everyone. Just so as I'm clear, I need something I can play live in our church on Sunday mornings, can't use a computer there, so I'm thinking about something I can connect to my 300w trace combo because it never moves. Good idea about a hofner tho'
  12. Yes, I have 2 but the scale isn't the problem.
  13. Hi all, my health is not what it used to be in that I'm having trouble hefting a bass these days and I have wrist tendon damage so I'm wondering if there is an electronic way of playing bass? I know keyboards have an amazing range of voices but is there anything that is bass specific out there? It would be much easier on me if I could just sit and play some keys to get a reasonable bass sound. Any thoughts, recommended products that would do the job?
  14. Pardon my ignorance but is this a genuine 61 or a reissue please?
  15. Hi, what is the weight please?
  16. Haha, what does it weigh Karl ma boy?
  17. Now if it only weighed 7.5 lbs... I doubt I could even pick it up. I love the shape, gorgeous woods.
  18. What's the weight please?
  19. Thanks, can't buy it then. Weight is very important to me.
  20. Hi, what does it weigh please?
  21. Dunno if this is the right place but I'm looking for a wireless system for my bass, I'm currently using Smoothhound kits ( I have 2) and finding them a tad unreliable. When they work they are very good but I'm plagued with crackly connections and if I move anything when plugged in I get disconnects and bangs so is there anything better and more robust out there? Looking for recommendations...
  22. Hi folks, this is my never gigged Roland blues cube, I'm selling because I can no longer play guitar. Gig-ready digital amp with authentic tube-style tone Voiced like vintage tweed-era amps Reduced cabinet size for easy transport Power control switches between 0.5, 5, 15, and 30 watts High-quality reverb Record directly to your computer via the USB output Open-back design with custom 12" speaker Wide range of tones The Roland Blues Cube Hot gives you two individually voiced channels. Like a tube amp, the clean channel's volume adds tube fatness and bite as you turn it up. The variable gain of the crunch channel lets you dial in the perfect amount of grit. You'll also find a switchable boost for adding crunch and a tone switch for more high-end presence. High-quality reverb adds dimension to your tone. And the Blues Cube Hot's custom 12" speaker is tonally versatile and ready to gig. Might be able to post at extra cost ( about £20) Any questions give me a shout.
