1. I would buy either of your basses if you would post it!!
2. Steve bought my pedals (dunno how they're gonna fit on a bike mind) and it was a first class transaction in the best Basschat tradition. Fast payment, excellent comms and all round good guy. Cheers Steve.
3. Bought an amp off Will and it was a good experience, top man, great friendly comms. Happy all round. Thanks Will.
4. Karl, you now have more ridiculously stunning basses than me :I'mjustajealousoldgit I asked God if he would let me win the lottery and he said: "meet me halfway, buy a ticket"
5. Hi, I have acquired a Vintage Musicman copy that I have painted and am renovating. I'm at the point where the pots need rewiring and boy are they a mess Using the pics I've taken can anyone hazard a guess where the wires go please? What I do know is that before I cut them off, the grey/white goes to the centre terminal on the pot shown, the green was attached to the pot case as an earth with the braided earth stuff, the red black didn't seem to be attached to anything. It did play though when I got it. Any help putting it back together would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Tom. (PS I only know Fenders)
6. I did the capri orange about the same time, I polished it and someone on here has the body now. Since then I have done 3 more, 1 yellow, and two red ones using car plan aerosols, they are fantastic for coverage and cost about 4n quid each. I can do one bass with half a can. Finish is excellent and polishes up great.
7. Hi all, I have for sale a Marshall Vibratrem and a Regenerator, both in excellent condition. Also there a Marshall power supply that can power 6+ pedals. There are about 6 Marshall leads to and a daisy chain pedal connector. REDUCED TO £50 DELIVERED! 8. Bought a pickup from Tony, excellent comms, friendly emails, very easy transaction. Can't get better than that. Many thanks.
9. Bought a fabulous 60th P from Bob and once again a faultless transaction, paid one day got it the next. It's the law, this is how it's done. Many many thanks again young Bob. (Ever thought about taking up fishing? )
10. I ordered another P bass loom and it arrived the next day as usual. Top service, top man, top marks. As usual thanks young John
11. Sad to hear that Bob but I totally understand. You have some fabulous gear which I'm sure won't be around long. GLWTS. (Going to see if I have enough for this)
12. Has anyone successfully made a decent bass using a cheap plywood body? Reason for asking is that I've just bought a Legend P bass for buttons with a fabulous maple neck & board and a ply body. The pickup is surprisingly good and punchy but the loom is [s]sh [/s]err poor but I can fix that. I was going to paint it some outlandish colour for a backup bass. /discuss
13. Oo'er that's nice Karl. If it had a maple board you'd be on yer way here
