1.
Sharp or flat?
Nah it has round edges
2. I bought this recently from a spy and it's mint, the reason I'm selling is that I'm now down to 2 basses, my G&L and this CV. I'm going to buy a USA Jazz and my wife will help financially to do this so can't say no to an offer like that and then I'll have my 2 favourite basses in all the world. Really nice Jazz this, plays great and weighs 9lbs.. I paid £200 and would like that back plus £10 carriage. Thanks for looking.
3. Can't open your link? I tried earlier. If that's the case I stand corrected. worth more than that, they're incredible for the money.
4. Hi all, 2 more basses and that's it, I'll have one left. This Farida Jazz is quite exceptional in that the neck is superb and very easy to play. It has a very low action and is just like a fender jazz. Pickups? Well I can honestly say that I've never owned anything like it! On my VX3500 (also for sale) you can shake the windows, the floors and kill rabbits in the field opposite. They are just sooo powerful. It is in immaculate, as new condition too. Here is a link to the FJB 20: http://www.faridaguitars.co.uk/bass/ There are plenty of reviews which are very favourable. It isn't for the osteopathically challenged as it weighs 10lbs on my parcel scales which are very accurate. Use a wide strap and it's very comfortable. Looking to get back £175 for it + £10 delivery to UK mainland. thanks for looking. pics:
5. Yes sorry mate, just realised I hadn't marked it. I'm putting a mint Farida Jazz up next.
6. One was Citylink, I had a business acount with them for 10 years. £19.50 is expensive, I pay £6.99 + vat. Look I haven't done this to have an argument over your experiences versus mine so let it drop because I won't respond again on this thread.
7. The last time I tried to have a bass collected from a third party I was charged twice, when I queried this I was told it was because I booked it, and because it wasn't collected from me here, they charge double. Check it and see. I commented on this because it happened to me twice with different couriers.
8. I thought it read: "So after much medication"
9. Please feel free to delete this but it's good information from years of trading: There must be quite a few sales lost on here because people are unwilling or unable to ship. First I'll address packing a bass, if you don't have a suitable box then go to your local bike shop and ask them for a bike transport box. These things are used to ship expensive bikes from the Far East and are really tough as people who've bought from me will testify. They need cutting down to about half of their height and yes it's a bit of a mess on but if it gets you a sale? You'll also need brown packing tape, a sharp stanley type knife and newspaper to scrunch up around the bass. This is very effective. If your bass is in a hardcase then you can even just cut some smaller boxes up and wrap the case up in them. Couriers: When a seller says "you can arrange your own courier" they don't seem to realise that you have to pay twice to do it that way. Once for the trip to collect it and once for the delivery so twice the cost to the buyer. This is just being lazy imo, all you need to do is fill a form in on Interparcel's site, pay with a card and prices with UPS start at £6.99 + vat!! Very cheap. What I'm saying to sellers is, put yourself out a bit and show willing, yes it's a bit of a hassle but if you get a sale so what? feel free to shoot me down in flames. Or pin this. Have a great day! Tom
10. Oh boy, my favourite colour and model. (Note to self: you got arthritis remember??) bollox.
11. I've just had my wrist slapped for not knowing that latency means slow, I started a new thread called slowwww and it was the wrong thing to do. If I had to searc oh never mind.

Slowwww.....

I'm sorry to say that the site for me is extremely slow and is the same as it was when launched. Also if I'm reading a thread and click on a link, when I go back to the thread to continue reading it always goes to the top of the page and not to where I left it. This leads to a lot of scrolling to get back to where I was, and because it runs so slowly it takes ages to scroll too. Can anything be done about this please? cheers, Tom.
13. Mine is still slow, especially scrolling up and down pages. Doesn't help that I'm impatient. I'm 65 and I haven't enough time left to wait around for slow websites
14. You selling my old Teal Musicman Linus? I love this Jazz btw, bump.
15. Bought David's CV Jazz and had a very pleasant, easy transaction. Very kindly delivered it to my door. Highly recommended Basschatter, deal with confidence, bass better than described, good to meet Vicky too. Thanks very much sir. best regards, Tom.
16. Sorry no I'm giving up playing due to ill health.
17. Karl is a gent to deal with folks, I'd love this Cab!
