1. No it's just the same, I don't want to play it, just look at it It's amazing in real life, it just glows
2. It goes through my Marshall 1x15 cab @300w. This amp is so powerful through that, it shakes the windows. Don't think 'oh it's only 30w' because in the real world valve amps are far more powerful than solid state. I can't tell any difference with my Hartke HA3500 combo.
3. Here for sale as I've never used it is my LB. 30w of pure valve power. Number 38 of 100 made. Spec' Ashdown Little Bastard UK: an iconic, all-tube mini bass amp head. It is immaculate. Looking for £330 delivered or may swap for a Fender Jazz with maple board.
4. Well I've just bought an amp from Mr Greek. We chatted on the phone and what a nice guy! Very upfront and straightforward.
5. Thanks guys, I struggle with 4 strings never mind 5 or 6 I think I prefer the look of the plain necks, I'm not sure I'm doing the right thing though, I thought it would sell quicker that's all.
6. In my defence I did politely refuse, the mistake I made was mentioning it on this thread I'll change my adverts now.
7. I know she is but.... you just would wouldn't you? Watched a BBC4 top of the pops with her on, the precision was bigger than her!
8. Hmm, I've met and dealt with some exceptionally good people on Basschat with just one or two exceptions. I can live with the numpty's because the rest is just sooo good.! I have 2 basses for sale at the moment and sadly I've had an offer on each, one was £65 less than the asking price and the other £55 below. To my mind that is a bit insulting and they were turned down flat. By all means make an offer but make it sensible!
9.
You realy should stop taking pics of your sales on crumpled cotton sheets. Im having un-necessary thoughts Type bump
10. Yes I think it is, it's very fast and comfortable. Having flats on too makes it very smooth to play.
11.
So now that Guitar Emporium has shut up shop - where do we get CIJ basses from? Always fancied one of their reissue Precisions. Danny
I have a mint 2 tone sunburst for sale?
12. Yup carved top, I can't stop looking at it
13. I know, but I have 2 more, just need to raise some loot
14. Happy to Geoff if you pay the difference and get me a night with the lady in your avi

SOLD.

No sorry mate, short of bags at the moment, be well wrapped though.
16.
I once sat through a seminar on rehearsal techniques (and jolly good it was too). The two guys running it said that most musicians don't stop as soon as a mistake occurs, and so end up 'practicing getting it wrong' more than they practice getting it right. The idea of practicing until you don't get it wrong is a really good one. Think about band practice - how many times do you play a new tune before you get it right? 5, 6, 7? then you get it right. Hooray, once more for luck, then move on. You got it wrong more times than you've got it right - so mathematically you're better at playing it wrong than playing it right. I think that was the upshot of the seminar (I've missed a fair bit though), but it's stuck with me for ten years plus. Cheers, Paul
I actually blushed when I read this It's a church band and that's what we do so on Sunday our keyboard player can't even find his music! Needless to say it's never all right.

Here is my Squier Affinity P bass, bought for a project and then along came Sue Nothing wrong with it, couple of very small marks on the front and that's it! How about 65 quid delivered? cheers.
18. I'm having to sell a few of my basses and this was last in so first out, absolutely first class condition with a low action and no faults. This is the more expensive 3 colour sunbust model that sells for £700 now so this is a bargain at £430 delivered. Will come in a hard case too although not G&L. I'm not interested in offers thanks. Thanks for looking.
19. Selling because I need the money so looking for £350 delivered. I'm not interested in offers thanks. Oh and there is a hard case with it too.. Thanks for looking.
