Wow some great stuff here. Mine:
2. It is, makes my 'neck' ache doing it though.
3. Up again as I was let down by someone in France.
4. I have these left from the shop: advert tidied up Guitar/bass slat wall hangers, I have about 75 of these and they adjust to any angle: £5.50 each posted Slatwall carousell for hanging straps or other items, it rotates around: £9 posted Guitar wall display hangers, fully length adjustable, I have 3 of these: £12 each posted. ***electric & acoustic guitars 1 SOLD, 2 LEFT! cheers, Tom.
5. I think I might part out my 3 spare ones if they get that kind of money.
6. I think if you walked on stage with it, no-one would notice what it was and how much it cost would they? Only you would know apart from the other band members. So make one that's identical and use it, I mean how hard can it be? I can remember when I was younger, I bought a very expensive 12 string guitar and no one showed the slightest interest, I was gutted.
7. Speak to Bassdoc on here, he makes scratchplates, he does all mine and very reasonable too.
8. Wow that's amazing! My custom trib is the same colour an all.... This should walk away at that price, too many strings for me.
9. Great amps these, I have one too, number 138 of 500, UK model. Buy it someone, great investment. bump.
10.
I got a pricelist from a Chinese factory recently on a few of their things. It is scary how low they can build stuff for . On the face of it the specs look half decent duncan designed pups etc etc. The what I would class as a budget starter, standard P pups genericish shape (think korean made basses mid nineties like washburn) High Mass bridge rather than the BBOT. Before Duties, on that day with the exchange rate to dollars £30 a unit
2 years ago before I retired you could buy strat copies for $15 each! Trouble is you bought 10 grands worth minimum unseen. Too much of a gamble.
11. + another one, superb effect, well done!
12. It's worth 20p, how does he want paying?
13. So mine was assembled by a team of skilled and very drunk Luthier monkeys......
14. No worries Si, you're one of the good guys here imo bump for a great bass!
15. I'm feeling a bit like the bad guy here. I bought this from here for £1195: http://classicandcoolguitars.co.uk/basses/siennajazz.htm As you can see it is original apart from the pots which were changed at some point. I trust Mark's judgement on this and on any other bass that I've bought from him. When I sent this to Bob it was working perfectly. I can only assume that any problems occured in transit. I have apologised for any misunderstanding with this, when I first read the advert it sounded as though I deliberately sold a bass that wasn't working properly. I would never do that. I have lost over £200 on this bass. Tom.
16. Is this the one on ebay? If so it's home made.
17. My 75 reissue says 'crafted in' at the bottom of the neck and 'made in' on the headstock face
18. You need the red one. PS can I buy the blue one please?
19. When you say the neck is 'fairly good', what stops it being excellent? thanks.
20. You would do better if you included a description too, damage? fretwear etc' Not everyone knows what it is.
21. Just bought an amazing G&L custom tribute from Denver. Great communication and a very fast delivery, totally as described and I'm delighted with it. Trade with confidence folks Denver is a true gent and great to deal with. Thanks mate.
