1. I also hate 'brought' instead of bought. Classic and cool guitars website offends me when he remarks: 'much sort after' it's SOUGHT you idiot! What about 'proffessional setup'?? don't get me started.......
2. Looks like your 'status' is improving Martin? Arl get me coat
3. I bought my 50s CV from mormusic, can't fault them at all, in fact I bought a Gretsch there last weekend! My CV is fantastic. They price matched for me but at the time everyone was £299.
4. Christ not again Can you send a pm rather than drag threads up from that long ago, people don't realise until they've spent time looking. FFS.
5.
Pick up only - i'm a lazy f**ker and can't be bothered packing things, taking them to the post office....
Shame, I'm a lazy sod too and can't be ar*ed to drive anywhere to pick stuff up
6.
Okay , we all know names like 'Precision' 'Rickenbacker' 'Markbass' etc. But the names of things being made now , are ,in my opinion slightly embarrassing. For example, Dean make good basses. However,I'm never gonna ask for a 'Playmate'. I'm not old enough to remember him ,but it's a saying by Arthur Askey-'Hello playmates' ! Ashdown 'Little Bastards' . Not really good if you're trying to prevent your children from swearing Are there any more that you can think of?
I'd love the ashdown LB but I play in a church
7. That's right Steven, I could hit 'em over the heed with it eh? Have you still got yours
8. I really wish people would stop doing this! Send a PM or something, stop dragging old sales threads up, just wastes time.
9. Hey Tom that looks good! Did you get it for a good price? I have a Rockinbetter loaded with rick pickups, bridge, wiring etc', I also had a real one and I couldn't tell them apart so I sold the real one
10.
Again?
Sorry, should have said 'almost'
11. Thanks for the replies, as you can tell I'm not very up in the world of bass players having played guitar for most of my life.
12. Having been a Yamaha dealer until retirement, I can certainly agree with Sean, excellent build quality and superb pickups too. I have a Sheehan already so I can't have another more's the pity.
13. Once again Karl has driven many miles to mine to collect his new bass, lovely, lovely guy to deal with and as others have said he is a shining example of why this site is so good! ^_^ Many thanks Karl, I hope you enjoy it! best regards, Tom.

15.
... and your sales get pulled how often?
That's just it, I don't Yet.
16. I used to use ebay a lot but not now the fees are so high, complete rip off, payscam charges you 3.5% of the amount to RECEIVE your money!!! If I do use ebay I clearly state that I'll take paypal if you pay the fees, if not don't bid. It is ebays site so if you use it you abide by their rules. I choose now not to use them. I come here and use preloved which can work.
17. Looks great! Halfords will give you a bike box free. These are much stronger too.
