  1. Hi all, this is a no name Jazz that I bought about a year ago when I had a bad fever. It came with the tin covers on but I stole them for another bass. This has very loud pickups and has a very good action, nearly blew Karlfer off the settee when he had a go of it It has just sat thereNOno doing nothing so it needs to go really. Sound wise it has plenty of grunt with a good tonal range, to my ears anyway. Has a nice minty green pickguard too. Looking for £100 delivered, trust me it's well worth it. No gigbag! Thanks for looking.
  2. Hell I can't believe I've just read through all that for no good reason That'll teach me to look at thread dates in future
  3. Hi Rasta, not my thing really but thanks for the offer.
  4. Open to trades or cash either way, 4 string only though please. Prefer Fender but will look at others.
  5. Here are two of mine. The P bass is a new arrival so I'm ^_^ now.
  6. I bought my orange Jazz off him and he's pretty honest I've found, but he does ask top dorra for his stuff.
  7. Might be good to mark your title, sold. Saves the excitement at seeing a gotoh, then being dulled with disappointment.
  8. It says for trade which means no price.
  9. Just bought a magnificent Precision in Sunburst orange from Dave and it's a beauty!! Very easy to deal with and very friendly, great packing too! Trade with every confidence, Dave is a gent. Cheers!
  10. Hi Parker, didn't realise it was your 18th, have a happy birthday, I'm sure you'll love this P bass. I have 4 more and this is up there with them. I can't tell the difference but hey I've only been playing for just over a year and I'm the worst player in the country (That's me on the right)
  11. Yes it does have a badge that is err controversial shall we say :lol Thanks for the comments, it really is a good example.

    SOLD.

    Replied. Now on hold.
  13. Well here is another of my collection that is losing out to my Fender obsession It's a Tokai Rockinbetter with a set neck, a great action and really solid Ric tones. This is no small part due to the genuine Ricky pickups, bridge, tailpiece and wiring which have been done to a high standard and cost a great deal of money so if you aspire to a Rick but haven't got that kind of money then this is a very viable alternative. It has had a new nut fitted and a recent full setup & strings. The Rick pickup cover is included but not fitted also there is a spare black switch tip. I don't know how old the bass is but it can't be very old because there is no fretwear or marks on it. I haven't got any of the original parts from it and it does have a naughty badge fitted albeit slighty smaller. Playing wise, I've only ever had a go on one Rick in the past and me being me can't really tell any difference. So tremendous sound and a low price considering the upgrades make this a really good buy. I'm looking for £495 which will include a good gigbag and delivery to UK mainland only. Thanks for looking.

Not unless she's wrapped the box up....... June? haven't you sold the natural as well?? That's torture!! Go for it mate.
  15. I have some black ones from egay and they work perfectly. That is until I have to take them off after each gig to get the bass back in the gigbag, not much of a job I hear you say but with arthritis it is

  19. I've just bought Neil's P bass and have to say it's a beauty. Very pleasant guy to deal with, very promptly shipped and I'm very happy. Top man! Deal with confidnece. (From another WHO nut)
  20. I too have some nice basses, luckily for me I mostly play in churches up high near the organ pipes so we're pretty much out of harms way. The down side is that after the service small children tend to race around everywhere so it can be a tad fraught. I put our gear straight into the car after we finish so not a problem really. I am from the school of thought that says your basses are for using, that said I do have one or two collectable instruments that stay at home.
