7. Morning all, This is my Squier fretless Jazz bass with the Duncan designed pickups in wonderful condition. It's had a scratchplate fitted in a previous life. Bought it to learn on but haven't the time or inclination to bother so it's here for sale. I'd like £130 + carriage. No trades thanks, need the money.
8. Can I have the cover dimensions please? Wondered if it would fit another combo I have here.
9. Hi Richard, hope you are well. Can I ask why it has a MM neck?
10. Well I played mostly 12 string guitar in our church band until I was 62 and then the bass player left. My wife can also play 12 string so it was tactfully? suggested that one of us should learn bass which meant me because my wife is a much better singer than me, + she can't sing and play bass. So 1 year ago I bought a bass and started to learn. I'm still very much a novice but I seem to be doing ok in the band's eyes. They are all a lot younger than me. I am mentally still 24.
11. Just sold Warrior a little bass amp. Top man, paid immediately, great comms! Deal with confidence, thanks mate. Tom
12. Thanks for the amazing response. It's a friend of a friend so I'm getting it third hand. I'm trying to get more info so I'll post it up tomorrow.
13. Anyone have any idea what these are worth? A friend is wanting to sell one that he's had for quite a few years. All I know is that it's a German one with a glued neck and apparently he's thinking in the 4 figure range? Cheers.
14. The price I'm selling this brand new bass for is the trade price + vat! It's a hell of a bargain.
15. Karl just drove oh err about 2000 miles to bring me his Rockinbetter, what a lovely bloke to deal with. Had a good chat and I'm blown away with the bass. Absolute gentleman, scholar and acrobat. Would highly recommend, even trusted me to put the money in his bank after he'd gone! Deal with confidence
16.
Difficult, I picked up a Cort B4 this summer via a series of deals and it's an awesome bass very under rated (and cheap) also picked up a second hand MIM Jazz this weekend for £299 which so far (2 rehearsals only) seems great too! Guess it's really what rocks your boat!
I have one of these too and have to say it's super for the money, very loud (Bartolini's) with a great variety of tones.
17. I don't know if it helps but I recently bought an almost new Ged Lee Fender with a low output. The problem was found to be a bad earth on the pickups. You could say that the earth really moves now that's been sorted.
18.
May be shooting myself in the foot but I've decided I want either a straight sale or a swap or p/x for a Precision or Jazz bass (Squier/Fender only).
I think you did that when you got rid of your Jazz V and bought a six. Free bump
