Anyone know anything about these P bass's with 2 pickups? Are they any good? Thanks.
6. 7lbs? Is this the Balsa wood LE. Very tempted....
7. That was me Clarky, I felt a bit silly after I'd posted because I'd looked at a 2001 Ric 4003. I thought that this was just an older version. I'm VERY interested in this, just haven't quite got that much money. I will have if someone buys my new fret king.
8.
They are a stunning bass, the build quality is outstanding. I payed £999 for mine and that was reduced from around £1300 approx. If i am right my shape is the original shape, the one on the site is the next generation shape. So Tom are you developing more GAS??
Gas never goes away does it? how heavy is it?
9. I emailed him and it is a 1980.
10. Someone please give this a home, it's a super bass.
11. Lovely, it's worth whatever someone will pay for it. Also I'd subsidise your carriage, that is expensive
12. 'kay, what does it weigh, I'm lovin' that if not too heavy....
13. Pretty much answers my questions, Thanks. I bought one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fender-Squier-Std-sp...=item4cee25b9c3 It is pretty light and uninspiring but with upgrades? fud for thought
14. Please forgive me for being critical but when I sell a bass I always clean and polish it before I take the pics. Because it is light I am interested but would love to see it with all the marks removed so I can better see its condition. As said, I do not wish to appear rude. Tom.
15. Ok How much are they new? Howay Sean, give us a clue
16. Thanks for the lead, I'll check them out.
17. No point in bumping it, no one will buy it without pics
18. Forgot about them, I always thought warmoth were noted for being heavy..
19. Morning all. I'm still having trouble finding a bass That is light to wear, appeals to me and has some grunt low down. I suppose a Precision is the ideal but they all seem to weigh circa 9-10 lbs wich is still heavy for me. Sooo if I bought a Squier made of cheap wood ie' basswood or Agathis is that lighter? Then if I bought the 'right' bits to make it a proper P bass would it work? I really don't know where to turn now. Yes I could get one made but at my age I'd probably be dead before it was ready due to the time some of them need to make it. So what do you think? should I make one out of a squier?
20. Our keyboard player says that I am the only person who knows I've made a mistake, he makes the obvious ones thankfully.
