  1. Price is posted to UK. Hi music fans, here is my last Harley bass, it's a totally as new Sterling type bass. Man this is powerful with the 2 pickups and 3 band eq, very controllable and great to play with a low action Paint neck and body are all mint. Bit of a bargain this. Weight is 9.8lbs
  2. Me too, walnut and maple. Was my main bass until my usa Stingray came home. Have to say I really got a good one, plays perfect no sharp edges either. Probably up for sale soon as I can't justify having two similar basses
  3. That is simple and very elegant Marinus, If it had a maple board I would jump at it. My eyesight makes rosewood hard to play on. GLWTS, quality bass.
  4. This looks like new, are there no marks or scratches anywhere? What year is it? It says 80's. Any issues with the neck please? I have a mate (yes really) looking for one of these.
  5. Hi, there is no spec mentioned so I had a look online where it says it has a class D amp and yours says class A? Is this an older different spec? Thanks.
  6. I'd have it like a shot if they made them with maple boards Mind I could always ask Jon Shuker to chang....... That would be silly. Best of the best, I'd love it but without maple I can't see the dots and yes I've tried luminay.
  7. What ad's? Lost me avi though so I put a pic of me on instead, that'll teach ya.
  8. I really like the shape and size of that....
  9. What kind of details? The bass is in mint condition and as far as I am aware totally original.
  10. Can't understand why this is still here, hell of a lot of bass for peanuts
  11. Yeah I do like mint, I had Jon Shuker strip the original rosewood board and fit a new maple one, it's just an eyesight thing but it does look and play well, early 90's I think, no issues at all I don't play it much because I got my Stingray back. I changed the P pickup to an SPB-1 because the original was too quiet for me, also removed the active loom and John (KiOgon) made me a new passive jobbie. Sounds great now. (Sorry to the OP for the thread hijack)
  12. I am, and I have quite a few. Fender Performer from the 80's, a mint Pink Paisley 50's bass, 2 brand new Antigua P and J basses, the Noel Jazz and others, a sandblasted P bass
  13. My PJ Lyte is exactly the same, also has a maple board. Great basses, especially that Jazz. GLWTS
  14. I know what you're thinking.... did he fire six shots or was it only 5? You've gotta ask yourself a question, do you feel lucky? WELL DO YA PUNK?
  15. Well this is mine, very thin neck, doddle to play, great sound. Stunning looks.
  16. Hiya Mick, I think it's uncomfortably close. I tried it next to my Stingray and the only things I noticed were the preamp was a bit thin and or maybe it was the pickup? Either way Kiogon could easily sort the loom out for not much money and you can get monster pickups for 60 or 70 quid. The quality of finish on this would rival a lot of good basses. I also have the 2 pickup version of it that I'm putting up next.
  17. I wouldn't, to me they look as though they have a growth on the bottom horn, just looks so ugly. I realise that beauty is in the eye of the beerholder....
  18. That is the best colour & maple combo I've ever seen, fantastic! I might even buy it, how old is it sir?
  19. A string not in the groove, any reason for that? Cheers.
  20. I had an acg once in Zebrawood and it was great, right up to the moment when I found that it had an assymetric neck shape and I couldn't get away with it at all. Just felt wrong and a bit ungainly. Is this one assymetric Bob?
  21. Just had a deal with Neil for his Caprice. What a pleasure! Fast, friendly communication and the bass is exactly as he described it, Superb. Fast delivery, I would happily deal again. A real asset to Basschat. All the best my friend. Tom.
  22. Yes I bought the yellow maple one, was £199 though but as said it's a great bass for the money. Must play it sometime.
