1. I'll second what Marc says, these are exceptional basses, and it's in the right colour too. GLWTS mate.
2. tom1946

Both. thanks for the youtube vid although I only saw you once and heard the bass less.. I get the idea though.
3. tom1946

SOLD

Sadly I can only see the BBC vid, the rest of them need to be signed up for.
4. Yer just a tart aren't you marc? That is a beautiful bass, very tempting, what does it weigh please? Thanks.
5. I'm sorry, I have no idea what you're selling. You need a description and some pictures. No one will bother if you don't.
6. Anyone use Ernie Ball hybrid slinky 45-105 strings (orange packet)? I've always liked them but haven't knowingly tried any others as there are so many brands around and don't know if there is better out there. /discuss
7.
When talking of screws, 'stripped' most commonly and correctly refers to the threads being stripped, I guess what you are talking about is 'buggered heads' which is commonly refered to as buggered heads not stripped. That's my technical engineering twopence worth
Best ever answer
8. Have you seen another Rick en Batter?
9. He did but now he's had one... grass is greener etc' just like me
10. Even with small hands I prefer a P bass. I've tried just about every bass that's ever been sold and I keep coming back to my MIA P. I only play in church situations so it's very limiting, fortunately for me. I have just bought my second Harley Benton stingray-alike and I'm very taken with them. (They are different) I can't believe how good they are for the money, this one arrived yesterday: (It shows the 5 string, mine is the 4 string.) https://www.thomann....bass_361465_130 I really need to stop looking.......
11. Pics would probably help your sale as in: no pics no exist.
12.
I think there are a few heads, nodding in agreement among BC members Tom EDIT: BTW, I know quite a few guitarists who are exactly the same too....
I bet Marc, did I mention I have a thing for 12 string guitars? My main instrument since 1968 until arthritis set in about 5 years ago. Still keep buying them tho' Luckily my wife plays one as well so they're not wasted....
13. Kev bought my Miller copy bass and it was an easy, quick transaction. He paid very fast, has great comms and the deal was done, just like that. Very happy to deal again and I reccomend him highly to the Basschat manor. Thanks again Kev.
14. about 20 mins I think, I buy a bass thinking 'this is the one' and it never is. The only bass I sold to Linus27 was my Stingray in Teal, I'd buy that one back without hesitation but I don't think he'll ever sell it Never owned anything else like it. Maybe I should buy a new Stingray....
15. I'm surprised there's no interest at all in this bass, it really does play and sound great.
16. So many toys, so little time.... another bucket list item.
17. Explain PLEK'D for those who don't know what it is.... (ok me then )
18. Exactly what I use in our church, quite a big place but it's more than powerful enough. GLWTS Andy, it's a gift at that price.
19. Another day and another fine deal with Shaun, bought my fretless Squier. Paid very quickly and drove all the way to my house to collect. Had a good chat with him about all things bass. What a lovely guy. Pleasure to meet you Shaun and I hope you enjoy the bass. Thanks again, Tom.
