1. Mmmm indeed, my favourite combo, trying to justify it.....

3. Just to confirm, after an enquiry I measued the nut width and am surprised to find that it's a P bass width, 42mm. I've updated the advert to reflect this.
4. First, yes I can supply a gigbag. Totally passive and the battery box can be a storage area. I'm in Guisborough, Cleveland
5. I have lots of dreams, mostly about err things I shouldn't dream about....
6. Bump, now £250 delivered, lot of bass for the money.
7.
Why don't you flag the posts that bother you? A problem shared...
Good idea, how do I do that?
Although the Reporting of offensive or out of order posts is encouraged, in this instance it would serve only to increase the number of Reports for little effect, as we (the Mods...) already see, and deal with, posts of the nature complained about here. It's not very visible, I'll grant, but the Reports are no more visible, so... A nice thought, and if it made any tangible difference would be welcomed, but I doubt its effect on the perpetrators of these heinous deeds. Reporting is, though, by far the best way of bringing stuff to the attention of the Mods and Admins; all Reports are quickly seen and treated diligently. Will do in future, (cheque's in the post) No, I'm lying
8. Beautiful! In the third picture, it looks as though there is a gap between the lower body where it meets the neck? Or is it just a black trim? Where are you from? For that kind of money a bit more information about who you are would be good. Thanks.
9. Thank you Douglas, I'm sorry I breached regulations, 'cough' I for one appreciate all of your efforts. Tom.
10. It seems to me that there is a resurgence of sellers putting 'SOLD' at the end of the thread rather than in the title where it can be easily seen. This means that when reading a thread all the way through only to find the item has been sold!! Very frustrating. I've had a few of those recently and it's irritating. Can this be pinned? Or even altered to look like the 'items wanted' headers? Tom. (and breathe)
11. Yes take the mods out and flog it, I had the same problem and did just that. Bought a lightweight body and neck from Gear4Music and my P bass weighs 7.5 lbs. Sorted.
12. Arrived this morning, looks great, fits perfectly. 2 weeks isn't bad from China. £8 bargin.
13. Just flogged my Gramma pad to Mike, paid really quickly. No problems here, a real Basschat gent. Cheers Mike. Tom.
14. Well after a couple of weeks playing around with the DiMarzio I'm quite liking it, power by the shovelful and the tone is soulful to me at moderate volumes. To me it's like have a 10 watt hifi, you have to turn it up quite high to get good volume but in doing that you are stretching its sound capabilities a lot whereas a 100w will give you a better low volume sound and have punch too. I know what I'm trying to say...... Jose, I'm loving your purple J, P bass and I'm looking at funds...
15. Karl, that's easily uglier than me or you. A shotgun would improve it no end The weight is very tempting.....
16. Bought some tuners from Tony, perfect condition, sent quickly. An absolute gent to deal with. Trade with confidence. cheers Tony.
17.
As long as you is bridge ground and the right pots any pups will work
Paul, that statement should be taken outside and shot.
18. As title, in good condition, the covering is through at 1 corner and there is a small nick in the purple foam but it's nothing. Just being honest. It's the 59cm x 39cm or 23"x 15" near enough in old money. I've sold my Fender amp and this won't fit my new Markbass so it's up for grabs. It made a big difference in our boomy church hall. £35 delivered in the UK Pics:
