1. Some Gibson Pelham blue paint please? Any info gratefully received.
2. By george I think you've got it, well done sir. Mine has 2 scews there, one either side and it works. Thanks very much, I really appreciate it.
3. Hi guys, Just bought a schaller 2000 fender fit bridge and I got no instructions with athough it was new. Can anyone tell me how to adjust intonation please? I've worked everything else out I think. I read on t' interwebnet that you use the height screws which doesn't make sense. I can see where the fore/aft slides are... thanks. Tom.
4. I've just bought a bridge from Greg, great communicator, very prompt despatch and as I need it quickly he went out of his way to accomodate me, probably at his extra cost too. I am really pleased with my deal and Greg is a true gentleman of the Basschat manor and I look forward to dealing again. thanks Greg. Tom.

6. Such a shame, seems like a real bargain.
7. I don't look at things like DC resistance, it's either loud enough or not. Maybe I have a duff Tonerider? My practice amp is a Fender rumble 100w and the volume and gain are almost half way to fill a small music room. The bass previously had a 'duncan designed' pickup from a squier and that was louder by a good margin. I'll check the resistance when it comes out to see if it's right, or not.
8. Hmm, thanks for that John, and the koi explanation. I never would have guessed that Ok I'm going with the Dimarzio dp127, it's more the top and bottom end for me but thanks for the info. Seems to be a lot of lurv for them here. Thanks to everyone else for their thoughts, it's been very helpful.
9. Well it looks like a choice between an SPB-4 or the Dimarzio DP-127 hmmmm........ both about the same price. Head's swimmin' now...
10. Thanks all for your comments, much appreciated. It seems to depend on the individual ear, I'm going a bit deaf these days maybe that's the problem. Ok fitted the tonerider with a spare KiOgon (what does that name mean John?) loom that I had, I found it to be low on output, I had to up my amp gain and volume to get even a moderate sound from it. The tone is fine, it has clear lows and highs but some of that may be down to John's tone pot. I'm no expert but I know what I like and POWWWEEERRR is one of them. Not that I use massive power but in my experience the more output there is, the better the sound. Not a waste of money but I will be changing it, maybe a DP127 as recommended above.
11. Dunc bought my iphone for his wife, very quick payment, good and friendly emails. An absolute pleasure to trade with. thanks again, Tom.
12. I was very interested and I don't know how I would know. I am not going to invest in it sadly.
13.
Hi Tom i haven't got exact i did send john a pm using the old scales method it comes in at around 7lb 10 oz sorry not good with metric it is without doubt the lightest P bass i've ever played and i've played plenty !!!!! If you are interested i'll try and get an exact for you cheers
Thanks Steve, if it begins with 7 it's gonna be light enough I think, is there any neck heaviness? I'm really tempted. I'm 71, what's metric?
