    As title, never used acoustic mandolin in brown burst colour. I brought it home when I retired from the shop and it's just sat in its box ever since, someone might as well use it.     I think they're about £375 ish, a lot of bass for the money, I doubt you'd find better.

    Oh no! I was taliking to Stephen Chown the other day and suggested he'd have a ready market for J & P basses that were sub 8lbs, I'd buy one of each like a shot. Gaping hole in the market imo, I'm not alone needing lightness. I have a Chowny mk1 and it's a great bass, nice n light but the strap peg is on the back which I find uncomfortable as well as the bass falling forward.
