1.
I'm 1945, so it looks like double basses for us then!
1946 for me and I hate DB's, won't fit into a 1962 Ford Anglia easily.
2. What is the weight please? thanks.
3. Martin bought my Precision, great guy to do business with, paid very promptly. Deal with confidence, a gentleman of the basschat manor.
4. As title, excellent working order. Was my wife's church amp but she's now going through the desk so it's surplus. Small hole in the fabric front but no internal damage. Comes with a Roqsolid amp cover too. 6. Precision Maple board Kill switch (I play in churches so a noisy clunk is a no no) Volume & tone Yellow. All I need.
7. As usual I seem to be the only person that's come across this problem
8. I'm coping with an 8.5lb [s]Marush[/s], [s]marusczs[/s] one of those german Jake P basses so 8.5 is ok. I hate getting old Karl but someone has to do it
9. Looking for one Karl, shame it's too heavy or I'd have your hand off for that
10. Thanks Karl, I live in the centre of the universe will I have to fight you for it? yeah would have be couriered.
11.
Many Jazz bass wiring relies on the mechanical connection between the mounting of pots & jack socket onto the metal bell plate, it saves .02 pence worth of extra wire but of course as soon as you get a loose nut or even a bit of corrosion under your nuts any earthing is at best - intermittent & doubtful It appears from your photo' that the pots are not of the 'highest quality' & also they are 500K Linear, which is certainly not what I would recommend for a Jazz Bass they are probably at the end of their useful life anyway! I would suggest a new wiring kit would go a long way to solving all your problems
Absolutely agree, this man makes the best quality wiring kits. Any bass I've owned and fitted one to has been perfect.
12. Hi guys, In my little music room I have my Imac and about 7 feet away my Markbass CMD 151 combo, when the mac is on and I want to rehearse a tune it's very difficult because it sets off a crackling on my E string when I play it, there is a little bit on the A string and nothing on the D or G, it;s a lot like interference on a radio with a bad signal. If I turn the mac off the interference goes so it must be the mac causing it. Not a lot of use when playing along with a song! If I move the amp to another room the problem goes away. Seems to be getting worse. Anyone come across this before? Thanks for any help. tom.
13. Yes thanks, looks very nice, I'm thinking very seriously about this...
14. no worries, can I have the weight too please?
15. do you have any pics that show the neck better? or the whole bass? thanks.
