  1. I bought one of Aero's basses and it is epic, best jazz I've ever owned. Buy with confidence folks, you won't regret it, in fact if it had a maple board I'd have it myself. GLWTS
  2. I currently have around 16 Fenders and I love their playability and simplicity, tbh having a preamp just makes things complicated for me and a jazz or P bass does everything I need.
  3. This is like mine, It's in a case in the loft and having had a stroke it's a bit hard to climb up and take a pic so this is just like mine. It's lovely to play, that neck is so easy. Can't find any for sale, they only made a few hundred in around 1986.
  4. WD are sending it today, result!
  5. I acquired one of these last year and have to say the neck is the narrowest I've ever seen, anyone else got one? thoughts about it?
  6. Ah thanks guys, much appreciated.
  7. I was ready to buy this at the new price, I'm now a little unsure because the pics on the ebay ad' seem to be a mix of the pics on here and ebay? I need a set of pics for the one you\re selling so there is no ambiguity.. cheers.
  8. Why is the one on ebay stamped 878? I thought yours was 547.
  9. wow, nearly 6 hours with no views and no replies,
  10. Anyone know who sells the 5 hole bridge with threaded saddles? Can't seem to find one, or is there another bridge that has sideways adjustment? Can't afford a lot but there must be something out there... cheers.
  11. Does this have rolled fingerboard edges? thanks.
  12. I'm 70 in July, my head is still 22 and cashing cheques my body cannot honour I play in a church band (lively) pay isn't amazing but it's a nice feeling, plus they don't throw anything
  13. Mark is a great guy, I've had lots of deals with him and never had a problem, what was the stingray like?
  14. PM'd
  15. Yet again another example of John's amazing work has just arrived. Very quickly High quality great service as always thank you so much again John. Tom.
  16. I'm liking this...a lot. hmmm
  17. Thanks chaps, much appreciated. Karl I have a Maruszczk P bass, got it about 3 weeks ago. Very muddy pickup + other stuff. not happy really , then I had this stroke thing. Gonna put one of John's looms and a Delano pickup in. very light tho'
  18. that's amazing! I had a stroke last week Karl and I'm getting better but it's a bit early for me otherwise I'd have it like a shot. Bargin, GLWTS mate.
  19. Damn, Been looking for a trib for ages.... sold my last one here, a lovely honeyburst/maple jobby and I bitterly regret it now
  20. In the 60's we were looking for a girl singer to front our band, seekers=alike stuff and we went to this woman's house for a singalong tryout. when we met she said: do you know 'Life is just a bowl of cherries' in 5/4 time? we sort of looked at each other and said no so she sang: Life is just a bowl of f--k'n cherries.. oh how we laughed. she was too old really, good club voice though.
  21. Crikey that's so sad, I'm 69 and have just had a stroke....
  22. Love the first pic Karl, the rest of them are LPB, are you sure it's like the first one? If it is it's wonderful, I'm on the edge of ordering a MIM in LPB/maple. Get it withdrawn will yer........ bollox etc'
  23. He appeared indestructable, absolute legend, RIP Lemmy!
