1. Could you please put pending in the title? I've just spent 10 mins trying to decide whether to buy it only to see I'm too late
2. I have an equally mint one, this is a great opportunity for a great bass. Easy on the back too. GLWTS
3. This is all very subjective stuff isn't it? I was a Cort dealer before I retired in 2009 and my experience was that their then basses were ok but we struggled to get the actions low enough to sell because a lot of the necks had proud frets on them, I'm sure all our Cort owners here have excellent basses though. HB basses are ok and for the money you can't really grumble can you? If you're a gear snob (like me ) you are never going to be happy. If you're not then you'll be happy with them. I love Precisions and G&L L-2000's but it's taken 5 years and countless buys off here to discover that. I have 7 P's now and 1 G&L on its way. I'm not greedy
4.
It's a cracking deal but I'm also quite annoyed as I have mine up for sale at the moment at £350 (paid 575 new 18 months) and have had to take it down. Looks like I'll be keeping it for a while. Amazing bass though!
I'm really sorry, hadn't noticed that, I wouldn't have posted this otherwise.
5. It's all very well saying you can buy a used USA for about £600 but, you are buying a used bass that you can't send back if there are problems and having had first hand experience of that I won't ever buy an expensive bass off here again. My take on 'mint' doesn't seem to match up with other peoples, also 'low action', when I'm told it has a nice low action I discount that description because I know it's going to rattle like a pig if I do more than blow on the strings. I now just buy new because I've generally been so disappointed buying used here. Yes there are exceptions and I've had a few good basses too.
6. I've already owned about 3 of them and sold them all, dumb thing to do. They are are probably one of the best all round basses I've ever had. I paid £495 for my other ones so this is a heck of a deal.
7. Just bought one from Thomann for £294 delivered!!!! Qthe blue burst one. Hell that's cheap, just a heads up.
8. I now own 2 MIM Precisions, one that I've just bought in CAR with a maple board and a white one with maple about 3 months ago, both new. I love the fit and finish on them too. Both have very low non rattling actions which is perfect for me. I don't need anything else now. I have owned USA Jazz & Precisions and while they tend to be heavier, the tuners are much better and of course the rolled edges which I miss. Apart from that I have 2 new MIM's for the price of 1 USA, I'm happy with that.
9. There's only one place to buy looms and that's our very own Kiogon on here. Absolute top quality stuff, all handmade and very quickly too.
10. Another lovely bass Karl, far too good for what I do. GLWTS.

Hiya all, I bought this gorgeous bass quite recently because it just looks.. well look at it, it's wonderful. Made in Japan by luthiers that cared about the end result. It is in mint condition and now sports a Kiogon loom, something I change as a matter of course these days. Other than that she is standard and plays beautifully. I hadn't noticed that it has a shiny varnished neck which I can't get used to as I seem to end up missing notes for some reason. Anyway it's up for grabs at less than I paid for it for a quick sale. It weighs around 9lbs, and it comes with a deeluxe Fender gigbag. Also has a new set of DiAddario strings too. You lucky people! Price includes postage to uk. 14. I was 15 in 1960 and loved the music, yeah there was a lot of cheesy stuff in there but the 60's bands were the pioneers of rock and pop and you had to be there to appreciate how revolutionary it was, I was brought up as a kid in the 50's with a diet of Mario Lanza, Michael Holliday and other such notables. When young people today listen to 60's stuff out of context it can sound a bit rough but look at todays technology and what we had then and it makes a bit more sense. Songs like spencer davis and gimme some good lovin' and pinball wizard sounded amazing after mario lanza. Just my thoughts.
15. We were playing a workingmens club in Middlesbrough in 1969 , I played 12 string guitar exclusively in those days and we were doing a fast paced song with a capo on the 6th fret and the bass of my thumb locked solid and I had to stop playing for half a minute or so. I tapped the front of my guitar and our bass player got the message (there was only me and him who played instruments, the rest were singists) so we just did acapella (sp?) until the feeling came back, the boozy crowd thought it was part of the act. Dead embarrassing though.
16. With respect, you won't sell that here without posting several high quality pics and more information.
17. I sold mine because of the weight, I do endorse what everyone else says though, exceptional instrument for the money. There is always a catch with a cheap bass though unless you are hulk hogan or 18
18. Maybe we should open a shop together Mike? That way we could buy all our favourite basses then sell them on again? Another smooth deal with Mike, excellent comms, fast and reliable delivery, a credit to the forums! Thanks again.
19. Vic bought my Aiken Squier great communication, instant decision and payment. A smooth and trouble free transaction, Vic is a credit to Basschat! Thank you my friend. Tom.
20. If I read the advert correctly the OP said that due to an accident he was incapable of posting it?
