1. Bump. Quality ash body with Wilkinson hardware & pickups, I'm better off breaking it
2. Haha, another sucker that likes MX's good man, someone has to keep them going. Can post it for a tenner if you want.

Just bought some jazz pickups from Barrie and as many have said, he is a legend! Very good comms and extremely quick delivery, a true gent of the Basschat manor. Thanks Barrie. tom.
4. PM replied to. It's a hell of a deal, please don't be frightened off because it's cheap, you won't find better at this price point.
5. Pm replied to, no holes and can send for an extra £10
6. As title, Another stunner from Harley Benton shown here: http://www.thomann.d...tage_series.htm Same bass exactly and totally as new, my camera lens has packed in so I can't take any pics, sorry but it is the same as a new one. I don't lie about my descriptions as my feedback will show. £65 collected for a brand new bass that plays really well. Any questions you know where I am. cheers.
7. Hi all, this is my Harley Benton Jazz bass as bought from Thomann for £116 including delivery. The bass has just sat here since I bought it and as such is totally immaculate. I put it on a thread in Bass Guitars here: http://basschat.co.u...rr-benton-jazz/ For sale because once again I have too many basses and trouble is looming unless I get rid of some. So this is the first one, all Wilkinson hardware and pickups, low action and very playable. I want £90 for it please and I'd prefer collection but I'll deliver it for £95 all done. Pics: You won't be disappointed.
8. Karl...Karl... I hate to see this happening to a good friend... trouble is you have all these nice basses Agree about the maple board tho' if that helps? well maybe it won't
9. So, did you buy it then? I have a very nice Jazz in natural, maple........... nah not really.
10. Just buy a CV and an expensive amp with a few pedals, you'll never know the difference
11. Sorry but am I alone in thinking that modern fenders are for the most part excellent? Modern electronics and manufacturing technologies are surely better than then? Having tried both I think so.
12. I've dealt with Mark for several years now and have had some fantastic basses from him. Deal with confidence folks.
13. I tried one at Absolute music in Poole on holiday last year and was blown away with it. I'd have bought one if I had room in the car. In fact I will get one next week. (Why did you have to bring it up )
14. Just bought Mark's 77 VM Jazz, top man to deal with, fast, friendly & informative emails, kept me up to date every step of the way in true Basschat fashion I really am chuffed to bits with my new bass, it's so light and resonant with loads of grunt, perfect. Thanks very much Mark, I hope you're selling my next bass! Tom.
15. Yep, I now aboot 8 Precisions of varying types and I love all of them. They are all maple boards except one which is a 75 RI P/J with rosewood and blocks. Don't need all of them but..well.... ya know.....

Sad to hear that Sean, someone grab this, it's a brilliant bass for silly money.
17. Second time we have dealt and again it was a pleasure! Great communicator, pleasant and friendly. Instant payment. Would happily trade with again. Take care Sean. Tom.
18.
Thanks Lee. Looking at the 4th picture down, it looks like a big screwdriver mark, at the bridge end of the body. It isn't it's just some trick of the camera. The only marks on it are the Fender light relicing. Don't know if this is different on every bass? Feedback below. Ta.
Have to say Karl's photographic skills are akin to a dog playing the piano wearing gloves I'm almost tempted with this bass me old mate, BUT the neck's rosewood!
