1.
I'm really interested. It's the the box and not the card I assume? Is the software Mac compatible and what's the result of the duff knob exactly? I'll be using it for bass and vocal in. Are you sure it just needs soldering? Just re-read above and it appears it's the card, oh well, ignore all the above. Peter
Basically the pot is loose, and it doesn't do ought - so it needs re-soldered i think. It is mac compatible, never used it on those other horrid things. The duff knob just means you can't control that level on that line, which is a pain if you're needing more than one input at a time. its a nice piece right enough!
2.
any travelling in the Midlands direction planned imminently perchance?
I can get a train, dunno how much it'd cost... but i could. Car is k'buggered
3.
Acoustic amps suck....
I tried out Thornybank's 220 with a Trace 215, my god it sounded good. Still, they suck... ain' no thang.
4. If my turbo hadn't just blown... i'd have eaten your hand off, oh and if you were in Scotland.

METAL V

Uber metal - not to my taste, but can imagine it would go down well with metal-ers.
6. It really is the hounds rounds.
7. My brother used to tell me that his old company used to buy their way out of negative feedbacks on ebay... not sure if thats an official thing mind you. Apparently if the comment is deemed offensive or something then they'll remove it as well. I think they just like to keep their power sellers happy tbh.
8. As title wold suggest, i'm thinking about letting my M9 go already, because my car's turbo blew on the motorway last night. Despite my brother fixing it, a reconditioned turbo will still set me back about £300. So, i MIGHT have to sell this if my sister, or gran don't come to the rescue with a loan. So, anyway you all know what these are and what they do and how awesome they are. If it sells i WILL buy another. Bought for £330 the other week, used once - want £320 IF i sell it. Cheers Jamie
9. Really need the B:Assmaster shifted, hell i might be forced to lose on it despite not having it a week. What will someone give me for it?
10. I wanted one too, i looked at Guild Starfites, darkstared, EB-2s and the lakland. I was persuaded away from Coronados, despite them looking awesome. Personally, DeArmond Starfire would be what i'd want.
11. Its probably a good thing, i have far too many outgoings this month, and 500 quid would've been a big bite into the Matamp fund
12.
In a round-about way.
Nooo! Oh well, my wallet thanks thee
13. Artistic song names... good enough vids too!
14. Just B:Assmaster left then - £110.
15. bwahahaha! Genius find sir!
16. Hey folks, I'm looking at pick-ups, P/J. I'm thinking actives, but wired so i can switch to passive if the sh*t hits the fan. I understand this rules out EMGs? Which is a pity as i reckon they'd have been perfect for my application. I play heavy, post-rock - Mogwai, This Will Destroy you, 65days, Red Sparowes, ISIS etc. I need the monstrous, low-end thunder of the P-Bass, clarity of Jazz, with articulation of the everything in between on tap... not asking for much then So, what would people recommend?
17. Gone from several pedals to an M9.. very happy
18.
Anybody know if Matamp have a website, and if so, whats the addy please?! Cheers
Best bet is to phone them so i gather, i'm not doing it 'til i have the cash though, i get the feeling debt would ensue otherwise.
19. M80 sold. TU-2 reduced to £40.
20.
...maybe have a Matamp-Fest so anyone wanting to try these cabs/amps could pop over and have a noodle... watch this space
I'd even travel from Edinburgh for that I'm looking at new year time for mine.
21. As title would suggest, selling an M-Audio Jamlab for £30. The easiest, cheapest way to connect guitar to computer without sacraficing quality. It will handle mostly anything you throw at it, won't even lag up on Guitar Rig 3 with extensive patches - its a cool wee thing. Perfect for just practicing away and recording ideas. Cheers Jamie
22. This is a soundcard, plug your bass into it and you're good to go regarding recording. Its arguably the best device in its pricw range, according to sound on sound.
23. I'm saying 50 quid all in, posted SD. Think its sold now to basskit
