hey folks, Not got much info on these. This one i bought from warwickhunt, along with his bassbase head. Good cab, nice sound but i'm just changing a lot of my gear right now to reignite my interest since i stopped playing. That is an old picture, but never mind - it gives you the idea at least It comes with a nice cover too. I'm after £80 - i dunno if i can post this... it is bloomin' heavy, so pick up from Leith/Edinburgh preferred.

Can't say i recognise that, looks quite nice though! I can add cash btw folks, up to £200. I'm really after the Warwicks, hence i realise i might have to add a couple of hundred quid. I also might have more luck selling it and buying a warwick, but i'll hold out for now and see what kind of interest i get All PM's have been answered, thanks to everyone for their offers thus far. -

Hey Folks, Well if you're reading this, you'll know this thread is gauging potential trade interest in my Yamaha Attitude Custom. I've owned the bass just over a year now, originally bought from a close friend in the US. The shipping and charges just about killed me, but ultimately i had myself the best bass i had owned to date for, what i considered at the time, a fair price However, due to a rugby injury near the start of last year i was out of bass playing for a fair wee while. It has just been more recently that i've rediscovered the bass and got back into a band. Since then i've just fancied a change, to further reignite my bass playing interest - thus we have this trade thread. As you'll note, this is a feeler, as i said this has been one of the best basses i've played an it was bought from a good friend - with this i am rather attached to it, so if sentimentality gets the better of me i might withdraw it. None the less lets proceed with all the gen: Made in Taiwan around 1992 I reckon Neck: Maple Fingerboard: Maple (No Scalloping) Body: Alder Scale length: 33 and 7/8ths Nut Width: 43mm Fingerboard radius: 10" Nut: Bone Frets: Dunlop #6100 (The top 5 frets have 'thinner' fret wire) Bridge: BPZ-4 Colour: Blue It is my understanding that the woofer underneath the pickguard is DiMarzio although the P-pup isn't named (although they sure pack a satisfying tone) Worth noting as well that this model also has piezo transducers in the bridge. As i'm sure you'll be aware it has 2 outputs and a mono/stereo switch on the back. I can confirm that both outputs work and that bi-amping can produce some seriously nice sounds. Primarily i found it helped tremendously in producing a very usable distortion by keeping the low end on one channel, whilst the distortion goes on the other - unfortunately i never did have two SVT's at any one time to use this to the extent Sheehan does. Unlike the Ltd's this model doesn't have scallops - a feature that i've found i don't get on with anyway. None the less the lack of the scalloped fretboard, D-Tuner DiMarzio P-Pups does not make this an entirely inferior model, well at least i don't like to think so anyway. Of course it is not quite as desirable, but it is a damn good bass in it's own right! Bear in mind you're also getting the American made, G&G Yamaha Case with this A rather spiffy black Tolex one at that! Naturally i will get pics up - albeit these won't be of the highest quality due to the crappyness of my camera - but they'll hopefully detail the very few imperfections as well as the generally very good condition of the bass. Cheers for looking and reading at least some of the above Jamie Perhaps i should mention i'd be looking at trades/part-ex's for Warwicks or W.H.Y

Full loaded 1 piece jazz ash body 3ts FT/FS
TheButler replied to fede162162's topic in Basses For Sale
Just going to put a word in for fede, i've just dealt with him, unfortunately paypal buggered up the other wise very smooth transaction. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him, top bloke... plus he understood my Scottish accent on the phone, something that some English people have trouble with, never mind and Italian! If only i was after a jazz right now... might get back to you haha -

yeah, i've transferred a lot of money with them recently and they're obviously wanting a bigger cut of it via premium/business account. ANYWAY, on a good note I posted the amp today, via parcelforce 48 insured up to £500 - i've pm'd you tracking fede. The case is uber hefty so it will be fine. Good times. It cost me £43 to do so though, which i seriously didn't budget for in the selling price. Bad times. -

It is quite annoying not being able to access the money. Usually i'd wait until the money is in my bank account before i ship something out, but i'll make an exception in this case, given the circumstances If paypal ask any questions, i'll put them in touch with you, to prove i'm not a money launderer I'll try my best to ship the head out tomorrow, to the address you sent me fede. Unfortunately i'll probably be forced to ship it via parcelforce but given the hefty fine rack case, it should be safe enough. PS - Remember you still owe me paypal fees! -

This head is still in my possession at the moment. Let me set the picture for you: fede bought the head off of me and paid promptly via paypal. This transaction however put me over my limit on paypal, so they froze my account - i can't do anything, no money in or out - nothing. Now they're wanting me to supply them with a shed load of info, which i have now done - all but one piece. That is the tracking number for the bass amp. I'm going to discuss this matter with fede asap and we'll hopefully get something arranged. -
I've got a good 1000 and odd posts over at TB and been a member age. Although i agree with the sentiment that the guys on here just seem more genuine and there isn't as much of an e-penis factor on here as there is on TB, which is always a plus It has it's merits, as does here i'm happy i have the choice more than anything

Guitar is too prominent, it might be as simple as merely turning it down! The bass drum needs to be tighter, at parts (namely the start) it sounds reminiscent of a deflated basketball, but then again at other parts when it is buried in the mix under a lot of tones, it doesn't sound THAT bad. All in all, not a bad attempt at all The bass guitar tone is quite good actually, if you improve the bass drum sound then i'm sure both will compliment each other well.

Isn't this a reasonable deal?

Aye i'm not a fan of Rikki's, i practice just round the corner and in the years i've done that i've never taken a notion to go in, after the first time. -
I really like it, not exactly what i'd listen to on a regular basis, not currently anyway, but it is pretty cool. Vocals could be a bit stronger, but i'm just being picky because otherwise a cool sound

I always feel very awkward in some shops, i'm just made to feel like i'm not wanted there because they don't think i'm buying anything. Some of the guys are decent some are just arseholes, what can you do.
