1. Sold my BF Compact to Andrew. Straightforward transaction, he was in the area, liked the cab, paid for it and collected it the same day. A thoroughly nice chap to boot! Trade with confidence. Many thanks
 2. Compact has been sold Midget still available and now willing to courier at buyers expense
 3. All pm's replied to. [s]Just to clarify, i really don't want to courier these cabs. I am however willing to travel up to 90 minutes in any direction to meet up if both cabs are sold together[/s]. Cheers
 4. Only Midget left: £400 Hi all Well I've only had these a couple of weeks and though it pains me to say it, they just aren't for me.

Barefaced Midget Gen 2 (1 x 12")
[s]Barefaced Compact Gen 2 (1 x 15") [/s] Compact now sold
Black Metal Grills
Metal corner
2 speak-on sockets per cab
Roqsolid covers to both
Excellent condition
In the interests of complete honesty the grill on the Midget appears to have had something lent against it at some point in it's life which has caused a slight 'dent' (you can't see it but you can feel it if you know what I mean). It's very slight and very shallow but I just thought I'd point it out as it wasn't made clear on the ad when I bought it. Will sell separately for exactly the same price I recently paid for them:

[s]Compact £300[/s]
Midget £400
Possible trades: VT Bass DI, VT Bass Deluxe, Dark Glass B3K, Collection preferred from just outside Doncaster, South Yorkshire or a meet up is always possible. Cheers
 5.
I avoid playing in swimming pools, to start with...
😂
 6. Of course, the alternative is to treat yourself to an old skool Trace SMX, select preset 2 and cut through the mix like nothing else. My 3 band 'Ray through these amps blows anything else out of the water 😜
 7. Thursday night 'almost the weekend' type bump 😜
 8. It is a steal for a quality cab. But it's got to go and it's now on fleabay too so, as the man said, be quick 😉
 9. Bought a Barefaced Midget from Martin. Great communication, great item and Martin couldn't have been more helpful in delivering it to a location from where i could get it collected. Trade with confidence, top fella. Many thanks again.
 10. ## reposted in the other current feedback thread ##
 11. I'm glad this is recognised as the standard 'mean and moody' bass player look. When my current band started gigging last year, the comment from our singers relatives in the audience was 'why does your bass player look like he's going to jump off stage and hit somebody at any moment?' Over the years I've always struggled to successfully incorporate any kind of 'smiling' type look. Guitarists seem to manage it better 😉
 12. Well, tried a dab of clear nail varnish and I do believe it's done the trick! Must have a slightly different consistency to the lacquer. Cheers
 13.
I'm off to pickup my first ever Wal tomorrow morning, and was just browsing this thread to tease me a bit. Now I'm pretty sure i will never be able to sleep tonight. Took me ages to find a second hand Wal at the same moment as I have cash in hands, and now I know why Wal are so scarce on the second hand market when you see the collections posted in the previous page ! Some pictures really made me swear all of the words i know of, I even made up some new ones on the way. Anyway... I'm delighted to finally get my hands on a Wal tomorrow, but what I really am, is gutted, that I will only own one of them !
Congratulations ;-) I'm sure you'll love it. I recently managed to snap up a gorgeous 1987 mk1 custom 21 years after I foolishly sold the previous one I owned. I often wonder what happened to that bass. The photographs I had of it have long since disappeared. It was in a proper old skool full flight case that weighed an absolute ton! A guy came to collect it from my parents house in Nottingham around 1994ish for the princely sum of £560 if I recall correctly. Anyway, I won't make the mistake again and I'm sure you'll feel the same once once you've picked up your beauty. All the best with it
 14.
I can't believe you never mentioned the weight of this cab (one of it's biggest selling points). If anyone is looking for a stupidly light cab, this has to be considered. 22kg is nothing. Best of luck with the sale! D.
You're quite right, these are lightweight cabs. Quite an important omission on my part 😳.
 15. Hmmm.... Well the car lacquer trick hasn't worked so I think I'll have to try one of the other options. I'll keep you posted Cheers
 16.
Drop of clear nail varnish on the top of the screw so it flows into the thread. If you already have some then clear touch up car lacquer used in the same way.
Many thanks, I'll give it a whirl ;-)
 17. Hi all All in the title really. Does anybody have any tips or tricks to stop a bridge grub screw from rattling in its saddle? It's as if the screw has gone slack. Cheers
