That’s saved me a job, that’s the one I was going to scan in later. Thanks 👍
-
I’ve been meaning to scan them all in for months, so it’s given me a bit of a push to do it.
-
Here's the one covering the SMX. It also shows the GP7 (still Series 6 at this time) and some of the Valve series. There's another brochure that came after this that covers the SM range along with the SMX range. I'll sort that one tomorrow. 😉
-
Here you, the MkIV range first:

I have a couple that aren't listed here, an SMX one and a rather rare one for the MkIV series. I'll get my scanner hooked up and post them. 👍

Mesa Boogie sold, Ashdown, Trace Elliott rumours?
Deedee replied to Chienmortbb's topic in Amps and Cabs
You’re right, Peavey have created a versatile lineup, but the TE brand is a ridiculously small part of that. Your comment that they’ve made them relevant again is my whole point. Why did they become irrelevant? Because the company that owned the brand decided to stop investing in the brand and stopped badging amps as TE. In any other business such a widely recognised and respected brand would be protected and built upon. But they don’t seem to be keen to do that. -
Mesa Boogie sold, Ashdown, Trace Elliott rumours?
Deedee replied to Chienmortbb's topic in Amps and Cabs
There’s been some absolute shite spoken here about TE. Not everyone who likes/liked them was a slap monster. It boils my gypsy's kiss when people assume every TE user EVER just pushed the pre-shape button and went on a Level 42 fest. I also suspect there was more than just a “minority” of users who remember them fondly. Yes, amp design and technology has moved on and users would perhaps choose something different nowadays, but that wouldn’t change their opinion of what they thought of them back in the day. It was/remains top quality kit. The frustration amongst those who do fondly remember them is that the owners of the brand haven’t kept it at the forefront of the changes. No one’s asking for them to start remaking 20kg heads, just to keep the brand alive and moving with today’s technology. Rant over 😡 -
Pick, fingers or both? - also if pick, which do you use?
Deedee replied to Baloney Balderdash's topic in Accessories and Misc
I’m shite with a pick and very much aware that I need to improve as some of my favourite lines are played with one. When I am using one, as the op it’s a Dunlop 0.73. -
Thanks for that 👍 I’m toying with the idea of going to separate pedals and an octave is certainly on the list.

Hmm, sounds right. Mine is 0520xxx and was delivered to me in June 2020. That doesn’t explain the July 1971 bass though 🤔
-
Traded an amp with Kev for something 80’s, wooden and Matsumoku Great communication throughout and packaged expertly. Many thanks 👍
-
No, no, no, no, no. Please don’t butcher this bass. 😫

Here's the original info on the Compact and BBII if that's any help. https://barefacedbass.com/product-range/compact.htm https://barefacedbass.com/product-range/Big-Baby-2.htm

Nothing at all to do with this listing, but I sold a bass to this chap a while ago. He was the perfect gent.

The one that got away in 99/00 Manchester Bass Centre
Deedee replied to AndyTravis's topic in Bass Guitars
Hmmm. I wonder if he could find me a SB-R60 in Padauk red 🤔 Congratulations on finding the bass anyway👍 -
Just out of interest, what changed with the 2nd gens, other than the shape? I had a beautiful Surf Green MkI with the Delano pickups, but hand positioning wise it felt awkward with the tight space between the reverse p and the MM. A minor issue I know, but one which bugged me.
-
Congratulations 👍

And here was I, born and bred at the red end of the A52 just about managing to refrain from making any comments about sheep and our East Midland neighbours. 🤣 Edit - to the op, cracking buy. I remember using a stock Encore P for many gigs in the 90’s. I would highly recommend a Kiogon loom and a CS ‘62 pickup though. Great combination.

I’ve been using RST for several years, again for Fender strings that many places don’t seem to stock. Good prices and prompt delivery.

Very nice 👍

I bought an amp bag from them a couple of years back. Was a little nervy but the price and delivery was all good.
