  1. Yep, same again like @Stub Mandrel said.
  2. As new after market white/black/white pearloid plate for a Stingray. £10 posted to GB (shipping to gb only)
  3. Sold Jon a pickup. Super fast payment and great communication throughout. Trade with absolute confidence. Many thanks.
  4. 😯 What an absolute bargain. If I didn't already have a 4x10 sat here I'd be all over this.
  5. The pickup in the single pickup SB models is just a little too far back for the P bass 'sweet-spot'. The neck pickup position on the dual pickup models is pretty much bang on.
  6. I feel your pain. I would love a 30th Anni, or my old Neptune Blue back, or the Honeyburst ‘95 for sale at the moment, but I already have 6 basses that each time I play I can’t think of letting go, so I’d just end up in the same boat but with 7 instead. 🙄
  7. I let mine go a few years back and have often had a tinge of sellers remorse. Lovely basses.
  8. These a very rare but being the same front to back depth as the combos, very practical. GLWTS Here's a snap from the Series 6 catalogue showing the spec:
  9. Following your previous question @W1_Pro the volume/tone knobs are now being reproduced (albeit in plastic) and are available here: https://www.reproguitarparts.com/#!/Knobs/c/1391098/offset=9
  10. 300 watt, 4 ohm, 10” lightweight driver in as new excellent condition. Bought as an upgrade to fit in my little Trace BLX 1x10” ext cab (planned to use it with the Elf as a grab and go mini rig). In the end it was used at home for a total of approximately 2 hours so it won’t even be broken in yet. It’s one of these: https://www.lean-business.co.uk/eshop/celestion-bn10300x-4ohm-neo-magnet-bass-guitar-speaker-10-p-542.html £60 posted to GB or £50 collected
  11. Totally unused and complete with the supplied screws. Bought it to use on a battered project SB bass that never materialised! It’s one of these: http://www.armstrongpickups.co.uk/miscellaneous-pickups/ When ordering you can ask Aaron for either a standard or a slightly ‘beefed up’ version. This is the beefed up version of the MB-II as originally fitted in the Aria SB600/700/900 and SB-R60/80 of the early eighties and no doubt many other Aria basses of the period. A third saving on new for a brand new, unused, never fitted pickup. £80 posted to GB
  12. 35/55/75/95. Great strings but surplus to requirements at present. Price drop - Now £30 for both packs posted to GB
  13. And so the clear out begins...... 19mm string spacing, chrome on brass, standard Fender 5 screw mount (spec shown below). Mounting screws and Hex key for saddles included. Excellent condition £50 posted to GB
  14. I think there’s a compliment in there somewhere 😂 Yes, that is the hole for the pickup wires but it looks pretty neat In the flesh. I did change the rather shouty silver screws from Rautia for some other black ones that look more in keeping with the originals.
  15. I had to find a couple for my MkIV a couple of years ago (screw heads instead of allen bolts). I bought both M2 and M2.5 sizes and sadly for the life of me cannot remember which size fitted, although I strongly suspect it was 2.5. I know they were only a couple of quid off fleabay anyway.
  16. Brilliant work and many thanks for sharing.
  17. Not sure how or why but the above stock pic has a link/quote to me on it 🤔 I’d be most grateful if you could remove it please 👍 Many thanks
  18. As @thodrik has said the valve pre on the SMX is extremely subtle. Hopefully others who are more familiar with the later heads will be along soon to advise you on those.
  19. There should be two speaker outs on the back, one of which currently being filled by the jack from the internal speaker. This combo will be fine to add another 8ohm cab to as the photo shows that it still has it's original kevlar impregnated TE 15" speaker fitted (which is 8ohm). 👍
  20. All the larger SMX heads had cooling fans (350/400/600 etc). The AH250 SMX models (later called 280/300) originally had heat sinks fitted but then TE started fitting fans instead. As has been mentioned, TE did seemingly chop and change and use whatever was available to them. I've had several 250 SMX heads appearing to be from the same era (i.e. the continuous line around the fascia) and some had heatsinks and some had fans. I prefer the heatsink purely as that's the type I had first and fell in love with. 😍
  21. Me too. Great straps at a reasonable price.
  22. If this is aimed at me I certainly wasn’t after a “minty minter”. Just a bass that fitted the description in the ad and the private messages which would have saved me travelling an hour and a half for nothing.
  23. I bought an amp bag from them a couple of years back (a Genzler one iirc) without issue. At the time they were a fair bit cheaper than anyone else
